Considering California wouldn't exist without massive amounts of Federal programs, including water projects, it's a laughable threat from them. All of their high tech is subsidized, as are its ports, agriculture, water, roads, etc. FEMA is a big cash cow subsidy for the wealthy there. If they want to 'punish' the Feds over their precious criminal illegal alien demographic then let's see how they like it when their dams, roads, ports, and all the rest get 're-possessed' and they start getting charged for use of all that stuff. It would be fun listening to them whine about how much their water bills go up in LA and the tolls on their freeways are.
They want as many illegals as they can entice in; they are losing real citizens at an alarming rate, and with them go Congressional seats and the power to thumb their noses at the rest of the country re the Federal budget. Without illegals replacing them and being counted for Census purposes they dwindle to no more than another low pop western state. Most of their business is pass through imports anyway, not domestic business.
