I could think of worse things to be obsessed about than flamingos. They are beautiful birds, and add nice natural colors to the environment. We have plenty of them here in the Tampa Bay area.

A bit less known (quite rare) are Roseate Spoonbills, with pink, white, and red, plumage, which are stunning in bright sunlight. We have them here also, always in groups of about a dozen, but are rarely seen.
