If the GOP takes over the Senate, there will be continuing investigations, appointment of a special prosecutor and criminal indictments against members of the Obama administration. Obama will then pardon them all.

Although the GOP will not impeach Obama, he will leave office with potential criminal liabilities. Does he have the power to grant himself a blanket pardon, or will he have to resign and let Biden do him the favor?

this is why republican gains will be short lived. one of two things will happen - either the senate will engage in witch hunts, and thus show themselves unworthy of power, or they won't, pissing off their base who will put up crazies against them in the next primaries.
