Can you imagine being 6 golf strokes ahead in a huge tournament and told live, you have Covid and have to withdraw

ok, no now we are going to move everything around on the course to accommodate players who are Covid positive… get real… you’re trying to hard
Why not?

Its been less than a year since fans wete not even allowed on the course at all

He was exposed to someone who tested positive during the week leading up to the tournament. Why wasn't he quarantined at the time of the exposure like the rest of the world was told to do? He was not vaccinated until after his exposure. So how many others did he infect?

as of when? Getting a vaccination shot is incredibly easy now.
I dont know

If he had an infection or needed other types of medication he may not have been able to take the wuflu shot

It's his own fault for not getting a vaccine. If he infected others, that is also the tragedy not some golf tournament he should not have been playing in if he was exposed to a positive case before the tournament started. He has only himself to blame on this one.

Please. This ain't a golf thread.

This is a Covid thread. Happened TODAY!!!!

6 strokes with 18 left happens once or twice a year. That is unreal to lose 1.6 million within your grasp and get ZERO

I'm sure Niklaus will take care of that, in that this never happened ever event. He is the tournament host
.

Guess it would be hard to say that Covid has a negative impact on your golfing skills ... :auiqs.jpg:

.

Imagine....not getting vaccinated and then having that idiocy costing you millions?

It would be worse if you were one of the 5800 plus people that caught Covid after they got the vaccination and thought they were safe.

We don't even have to consider the number of people who think they are healthy ...
That couldn't walk the distance of a golf course without passing out.

I’m all for changing the rules if it makes sense. But what your advocating is not changing the rules it’s breaking the rules to fit what you think should be done.

He tested negative and had limited exposure during the tourney. With a negative test he was a very low risk of spreading it

Not getting vaccinated should be a personal choice with 0 consequences. After all, he was not a threat to anyone, except the Nazi like regime running this country today. Imagine a vaccine for a virus with a 99+% survival rate for most people. Talk about insane.

It's a personal choice yes. Every choice has consequences.

In his case getting Covid and losing millions were the consequences.

He made a stupid choice

The rules for the chinese disease have been constantly changing since it first reached this country

Nothing about the wuflu is written in stone

The essence of Trumpery is hysterically lashing out erratically, mewling a myriad of grievances to divert attention. It is destined to fizzle.

Trump... played down concerns about the coronavirus in the U.S., saying the situation was "under control" and was a "problem that's going to go away."
"We have very few people with it," Trump told reporters at a news conference in New Delhi, adding that he was not totally caught up on the latest details because of his trip to India but that "the people are getting better, they're all getting better,"* referring to patients in the U.S.
* Following his reassurances, 33,518,669 Americans became infected and 603,410 died.

If Trump were president, then Rahm would still be playing
They should have told him in private. Not a live moment when a grown man cries. This fucking media. Ruthless fucking bastards
Blame it on the officials - Not the media (or Fauci for God’s sake - LoL!)
PGA makes their own rules, not Trump and not Biden.
F’n Loons :rolleyes-41:

He Just got his shot, but not before being exposed to the Covid case he caught. He wasn't immune yet and still isn't. Why he waited so long, I don't know but he took it like a man. He has got to be so disappointed.
Crazy, PGA should have seen to it that every player, caddy, official etc was fully vaxed vaxed prior to the Masters.
Those protocols have been nearly 100% in other professional sports!
