What a moron. Employees DO NOT and SHOULD NOT get "their earned share" of the profits. If there were no capitalist, there would be no business entity, and the employees would be begging on the streets.

The capitalist pays as little as possible for EVERYTHING that contributes to the enterprise. He does this, ideally, by competitive bidding. He need raw materials, so he contacts several suppliers and buys them from the one that provides the best deal. He needs outside services and does the same.

He might need workers for an assembly line, a work crew, or whatever. So he advertises jobs at a wage he is willing to pay. If nobody comes forward, he increases that wage. He increases the wage until he gets a sufficient number of qualified people to do that work. People who are willing, if not happy, to get that wage.

Why [the fuck] would he pay them MORE than they were willing to work for? What about the suppliers of his raw materials? Should the capitalist send them a supplementary check at the end of the year for a share of the profit? Of course not. They agreed to provide the materials at a given price, and they got it. End of discussion.

What a moron.

Kenny,
Those workers could save, invest, and become capitalists themselves, and many do. Working for a large company is a great was to start.

Without the workers there is no business.
The capitalist needs the workers more than the workers need the capitalists.
That's why capitalists spend so much effort into dividing workers along meaningless lines.

Quit acting like the employer-employee relationship is an equal bargain.
