Capitalism

All economic systems are born, grow to maturity, and die; capitalism is no exception: the sooner the better.

MODE OF PRODUCTION – KARL MARX (KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER) - Achievers IAS Classes
Bullshit.

yes all things change and eventuallyu are replaced. Someday in the distant future capitalism may be replaced by something else we donot even understand.

Marx however was a fucking fool and all of his predictions have failed. Socialism and communism are not progress from capitalism they are regressions into feudalism and slavery

Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty, and misery, than any other system in the history of the world.

Only ignorant people wish for its end.
Capitalism doesn't exist without war, debt, and genocide.
It's history is littered with hundreds of millions of maimed, murdered, displaced, enslaved and addicted victims:

"In 1500, India and China were the world’s most advanced civilizations.

"Then came the Europeans.(Capitalists)

"They eventually looted and wreaked havoc on both, just as they were to on the Americas and Africa.

"For India and China, Britain was the chief culprit, relying on state-sponsored drug-running backed by industrialized military power.

"The British Empire was the world’s largest producer and exporter of Opium—the main product of global trade after the gradual decline of the slave trade from Africa.

"Their 'civilization' brought the Century of Humiliation to China, which only ended with the popular revolution led by Mao Zedong.

"This historic trauma and the struggle to overcome it and re-establish their country is etched in the minds of the Chinese today.

"Before the British brought their 'culture,' 25% of the world trade originated in India..."

China was far better off with capitalism than under communism. Thatis why their government desperately tried to walk a balance between the two.

You are quite wrong. War and slaughter exists throughout history regardless of econimics or politics. It is far worse under communism.

Freedom of speech is a fiction, democracy is a fiction, fair competition is a fiction, freedom of movement is a fiction, human rights are a fiction, international law is a fiction. The concepts of honest labor, friendship, love, family, patriotism have been trampled. What else hasn't capitalism turned to shit?
I would say illusion instead of fiction, but your point is valid. I would also say that it's not really capitalism itself, it is capitalism run by humans with no moral compass, humans who do not know right from wrong.

Centuries ago Adam Smith pointed out in the Wealth Of Nations that capitalism works only in a system/society with moral and ethical foundations. Capitalism sustained by moral and ethical practices can and does work. Capitalism run by moral midgets quickly devolves into fascism.

Capitalism is one person making something to SELL to another. That's it. The fact that corrupt people use the wealth generated for their fascists desires is on them.

Not capitalism.

I don't know any former slaves, so the question is rhetorical.
Yep! A rhetorical question. To provoke rhetoric and discussion of ideas.

I find the use of propaganda and manipulation of language particularly worthy of discussion. "Freedom is an illusion, democracy is a fiction, rights are a fiction, war is peace, ignorance is strength." The point of the game is, essentially, to gaslight people and throw fundamental concepts in to doubt. Then you can replace them with ideas of your own.

Yep, I figured out 50 years ago in Uncle Sam's Army that whatever the Army and Government want me to think, most likely the opposite is the truth. That was reinforced several times, notably by the lessons of The Pentagon Papers, the Afghanistan Papers, the Scamdemic, the Twitter Files, Assange and Snowden.

Yeah - cause there has never been any kind of conflict with communism!

When have communists committed acts of terror on this scale?

"In the early 1700s, China produced 35% of the world GDP.

"Until 1800 half the books in the world were printed in Chinese.

"The country considered itself self-sufficient, not seeking any products from other countries. Foreign countries bought Chinese tea, silk, and porcelain, having to pay in gold and silver.

"Consequently, the balance of trade was unfavorable to the British for almost two centuries, like the situation the U.S. and Europe face with China today.

"This trade slowly depleted Western reserves. Eventually, 30,865 tons of silver flowed into China, mostly from Britain.

"Britain turned to state sponsored drug smuggling as a solution, and by 1826 the smuggling from India had reversed the flow of silver.

"Thus began one of the longest and continuous international crimes of modern times, second to the African slave trade, under the supervision of the British crown."

Not capitalism.
One person making a product to sell to another predates capitalism by thousands of years.

Capitalism's First Principle is capital accumulation for a small minority of society.

This produces an ever-increasing level of economic inequality with all the social ills that follow: privatize profits by socializing costs.

Capitalism’s Unequal Distribution Deprives You of True Freedom

"As the French economist Thomas Piketty most recently exposed, capitalism, across time and space, has always tended to produce ever-greater economic inequality.

"Oxfam, a global charity, reported that 2022’s 10 richest men together had six times more wealth than the poorest 3.1 billion people on earth.

"The lack of democracy inside workplaces or enterprises is both a cause and an effect of capitalism’s unequal distribution of income and wealth."

That's a propaganda line pushed by Marxists.

That's what you hate about capitalism. ANYBODY can become rich through hard effort.

Does every hard worker make a fortune?

Nope. But they all have a opportunity to do so.

Under Marxism you still have a tiny, super wealthy ruling class, but there is NO chance for a hard worker to get ahead.

You morons think you will be part of that small ruling class, but you won't be, because you are lazy and stupid.
