Carter Page has nothing to hide and is going to blast the dems espionage wide open

Foreign Policy published an article last week providing additional details regarding Page’s contact with Russian intelligence agents in New York.

As Foreign Policy reported, those Russian agents tried to recruit Page in 2013; and, “While the effort was ultimately unsuccessful as the FBI broke up the spy ring in 2015, the meetings between Page and the Russian intelligence officers constitute one of the most substantive ties to date between a member of the Trump camp and Russian intelligence.”

Foreign Policy goes on to report that Page was identified as “Male-1” in a 2015 secret criminal complaint, and BuzzFeed News reported that “Page confirmed to BuzzFeed News on Monday that he is ‘Male-1’ in the court filing.”

“Page met with a Russian intelligence operative named Victor Podobnyy, who was later charged by the US government alongside two others for acting as unregistered agents of a foreign government,” according to the BuzzFeed News report. “The charges, filed in January 2015, came after federal investigators busted a Russian spy ring that was seeking information on US sanctions as well as efforts to develop alternative energy. Page is an energy consultant.”

That court filing included a transcript of a recorded conversation between Podobnyy and one of the other men “busted in the spy ring, Igor Sporyshev, about trying to recruit” Page.

Foreign Policy elaborated on the recorded conversation, reporting that Podobnyy told Sporyshev, his boss, that Page “got hooked on Gazprom,” a Russian energy company. “It’s obvious that he wants to earn lots of money,” he added.

Podobnyy, officially an attaché to the Russian mission of the U.N., told the Page that he would work with Sporyshev, as Russia’s trade representative in New York, to win contracts for Page. “He went to Moscow and forgot to check his inbox, but he wants to meet when he gets back,” Podobnyy told Sporyshev on April 8, 2013. I think he is an idiot and forgot who I am.” Podobnyy noted that Page wrote him emails in Russian “to practice,” and said “he flies to Moscow more than I do.”

But Podobnyy never intended to deliver on those promises and instead pumped Page for information.

“This is intelligence method to cheat, how else to work with foreigners? You promise a favor for a favor,” Podobnyy told his supervisor. “You get the documents from him and tell him to go f-ck himself.”

Pretty much to a man, no one in prison says they're guilty. It's how it goes. I'd wait instead of just taking his word for it.

Odd, every inmate I ever met had been found guilty, in a court of law.

Has Carter been found guilty in a court of law, or just a court of opinion?
My point doesn't change because of that. Guilty people don't admit it.
and innocent people don't claim they are guilty.
True. But you are assuming he's innocent because he's a Republican. I'm not going to assume that, especially not with a renewed FISA warrant on his ass. If they determine he is innocent, fine by me, but everyone should wait on this one. And all the rest, imo.
What if the Obama Justice Department lied to the court about probable cause to get the warrant as part of Obama's Russia hoax?
That didn't happen.

Carter Page, an investment banker, lecturer, and foreign policy analyst, appeared on The O'Reilly Factor Thursday to decry "false accusations" lodged against him in the media. Page added that he was "encouraged," however, because the Obama administration's lies "are finally coming out into the open."

Page told O'Reilly's fill-in host Eric Bolling that he has "spoken at universities in Moscow for many, many years," and that any contact he might have had with "Russian operatives" during his tenure as a Trump advisor was "less than incidental." Page added that there were "no negotiations" whatsoever with any Russians he met during that time.

Asked Bolling:

Who do you think went to the FISA court to get permission to surveil you?

Page answered:

I have learned with all the false accusations that have come out against me that I'm not going to speculate. I'm very encouraged about all this new information coming out about these unethical practices and potentially illegal practices.

Asked what in particular he thought was illegal, Page said, "False evidence." He pointed to Director Comey's comment during his March 20 testimony that "politicians lie all the time":

People can lie to the media and there's no law against that. However, when you introduce false evidence in a court of law -- including the FISA court -- that is illegal.

Page alluded to former Senator Harry Reid's letter last August citing what he called the "dodgy dossier," accusing him of meeting with sanctioned Russian officials

This guy was there for a reason, he elected Trump......................

Again Mary there is NO CASE pending against Page, do you comprehend this

Nope--to obtain a FISA warrant--the investigation has usually started FIRST--and then they run into the Judge to have a FISA warrant issued. Meaning there was probable cause for the warrant. The FISA was revised after 9/11. Meaning terrorists could be followed their phones tapped etc. to look for information, and once found then they could obtain a FISA warrant after the fact. You can't get any kind of a warrant without probable cause. You have to convince a judge of probable cause. In this instance it was probably a recorded conversation between Russian intelligence agents & Carter Page. We know now that the UK and other countries known as the 5 points had Russia under the microscope, and they have these recordings--and they turned them over to U.S. Intelligence. They have 48 hours to obtain a FISA warrant after collecting evidence.

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ("FISA" Pub.L. 95–511, 92 Stat. 1783, 50 U.S.C. ch. 36) is a United States federal law which prescribes procedures for the physical and electronic surveillance and collection of "foreign intelligence information" between "foreign powers" and "agents of foreign powers" suspected of espionage or terrorism).[1] The Act created the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) to oversee requests for surveillance warrants by federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Analysis | 5 times Donald Trump’s team denied contact with Russia

Trump aides were in constant touch with senior Russian officials during campaign - CNNPolitics.com

"Another national security adviser to the Trump campaign, J.D. Gordon, also disclosed Thursday that he had met with Kislyak, this time during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July. That meeting was first reported by USA Today. Gordon told CNN that along with national security advisers Carter Page and Walid Phares, Gordon stressed to the Russian envoy that they would like to improve relations with Russia.
Gordon had advocated for language in the GOP platform that the
Ukrainians not be armed in their battle against pro-Russian separatists, an effort was ultimately successful. But Gordon says he was simply advocating what Trump himself had expressed -- that he did not wish to see major war break out over the situation in Ukraine."

Obviously, they weren't trading cookies recipes at the RNC convention in Cleveland with the Russian ambassador. They actually sat down with a foreign adversary (Russia) and were writing foreign policy long before they were even close to winning the F--king election."

And McCain is very curious about this action taken at the RNC Convention:

What makes you think so? We saw Loretta Lynch hold a private meeting with Bill Clinton while his wife was under investigation and then issue immunity to all of Hillary's top aides so we know the Justice Department was willing to play politics, and we haven't seen a single piece of evidence that there ever was an legitimate basis for investigating allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. With both the Justice Department and the intelligence services leaking all sorts of things about Trump, not a single fact to support the allegations against him or his campaign. By any reasonable standard, the whole thing looks like a hoax the Obama administration invented to try to influence the election in favor of Clinton, and since the election it appears the Democrats have no other agenda than to spread baseless rumors about the President.

Ha.Ha--Carter Page can get on T.V. all day long and tell his version of the story all he wants. But until he is under oath and testifying in front of Congress or the FBI--this long from being over. I am certain he will be required to do that.

What he doesn't know is what they've got, and if Carter Page had any brains he sure wouldn't be giving interviews on National T.V. right now, that could easily be used against him during sworn testimony.

But nothing surprises me that comes out of the Trump administration anymore. Comey stated something--under sworn testimony in the Senate about 3 weeks ago that should have hit a nerve. He stated: "It's as like they didn't even care if they got caught." That can only mean one thing. They've been caught. They're going to gather all the evidence, they're going to take their time with this, and then the real mother of all bombs is going to go off.

Collusion with a foreign adversary to interfere into an American election is Treason.

If Republicans can do 8 investigations into Benghazi, it's not too hard to imagine what Democrats will do with Treason, Obstruction & Lies when they take over in 2018. You'll also get a great education on what that Emoluments clause in the Constitution is all about.
The Emoluments Clause: Its text, meaning, and application to Donald J. Trump | Brookings Institution

So Republicans have 2 options
1. Remove Trump from office asap to save their honor and survive
2. Or go down with him in 2018--2020 and beyond

So an unsuccessful attempt at recruitment equals a substantiative tie? REALLY? You ignorant bitches keep grasping and coming up with nothing but thin air and fantasy. LMAO

To bad Hiblarry Cliton

Note: That Gordon came forward only (after) Sessions was accused of lying under oath.

The FISA warrant yielded a big zippo, as Page is still doing as he pleases. Just to fuck with assholes like you he should do a lecture in Moscow tomorrow. Then you all can blow out your own brains

But until he is under oath and testifying in front of Congress
Yup, worked so well when Hilary was under oath, didn't it?

He's not in prison, nor been charged with anything but innuendo .
Pretty much to a man, no one in prison says they're guilty. It's how it goes. I'd wait instead of just taking his word for it.
No, but having a FISA warrant against him required enough evidence to persuade a judge that he was a potential bad guy, and the warrant was renewed, as well. So, like I said, I'll wait to see what they find out, not take Page's word for it.

Interesting how many Xspurts there are on FISA warrants..................

Page is gonna sue these people silly for tarnishing his reput
Interesting how many people are willing to jump to conclusions.

And what the fuck do you believe that you are doing?
How the fuck is "waiting to see what they find out" jumping to conclusions?

My point doesn't change because of that. Guilty people don't admit it.
and innocent people don't claim they are guilty.
True. But you are assuming he's innocent because he's a Republican. I'm not going to assume that, especially not with a renewed FISA warrant on his ass. If they determine he is innocent, fine by me, but everyone should wait on this one. And all the rest, imo.
What if the Obama Justice Department lied to the court about probable cause to get the warrant as part of Obama's Russia hoax?
That didn't happen.
How do you know what the dems or Obama did? Please detail
You have to give the judge proof of suspicion, you jerk. You can't just tell the judge a story.

You're right, we haven't. The investigation isn't over; I've been told it could be up to another year. They aren't going to give us any details until the investigation is over.

If they were trying to "influence the election," they would have made a lot more out of it BEFORE the election. I heard about it once, one statement. Comey did not talk about it until well after the election.
I'm not going to disagree with you that the Democrats are looking for Russian collusion under every stone, but that's politics. I don't believe the FBI and the other intelligence agencies began the investigation for that reason. If it were political, we would have been hearing about it front and center THEN.

Wrong, they tell the judge a story about whatever they want. When they go to court there is a higher standard, and this is NOT GOING TO COURT. Can you grasp that there are NO CHARGES PENDING against Page?

Talking to a Russian is NOT A CRIME, it's allowed. Lecturing in Russia is allowed too.

Give up you are clueless
