Bush's foreign policy was a success. Obama's has been a failure. Pretty simple.

Truman was the exception to the rule.

The vast majority of presidents whose terms were viewed negatively when the left office were continued to be viewed negatively by historians years later. This is true from presidents like Buchanon to Grant to Hoover to Nixon.

Actually every president's approval rating fluctuates, and Bush's time will be remembered as a time of prosperity, low inflation, low unemployment. Especially compared to what went after.

Actually, he spoke the truth regarding Secretary of Defense. He chose Chuck Hagel to be a lamb led to slaughter. Obama will gut the military and blame all the problems on Hagel, a Republican. And just as with his ObamaCare, the problems will not show up until He has left office to sit back and laugh at the coming devastation.
