From the CNN documentary on Chicago--and what little I have ever known about it---there are longstanding issues. The chief of police for Chicago stated --'I cannot resolve the historical issues...' They collect the guns--arrest offenders--then the offenders are released and the problems start all over again. Gangs.

They have restructured the school system---maybe in 2 or 3 more decades some progress can be evident.

All has to do a child being turned in the wrong direction. Give a child hope and guidance and there's a far better chance of better results.

Guns don't pull the trigger without an angry young man doing so....

The sleeping around of men without responsibility is a huge cause of this....Time to be a father and work to give that child better.
