When we put patriot missile batteries in Iraq, they were only 50% effective. Even though most of them hit the enemy missile, half the time the warhead survived and continued to hit the ground. Not good when you're dealing with nukes.

I hope you know that N. Korea has several generations of missiles. They're having trouble with the latest long range missiles. The one's that can reach S. Korea and Japan are old technology.

Neither of which were too worried about those missiles. The NorKs have better odds of blowing themselves up than Japan.
