There are no "NATO missiles" in Ukraine. We just NOW are supplying them lethal aid from a NUMBER of free western countries. SOME -- like frickin Switzerland and Sweden who have been SOLIDLY neutral thru 2 World Wars !!!

Chomsky does HAVE a point. And that's that Putin FEARS Zelinsky is doing TOO good a job of WESTERNIZING bringing Liberty to Ukraine. And doesn't like watch the chances of Ukraine joining NATO or the EU.

But since Putin is massively invading -- he's NOT making them happier to be Russian vassels again.. Kinda ironic for a "stuck in the 60s" progressive ANTI-WAR star like Chomsky to IGNORE who is invading who.

IN FACT -- what there IS of a Ukranian Air Force is STILL Russian MIGs. Because so far, the West has generally REFUSED to arm them with MEANINGFUL weapons.

I know all that. I was arguing about the poster's assertions that NATO was supplying weapons. So I pointed out the MIGs and the fact that ALL western countries should have been and ARE supplying SOME weapons..

The old KGB rock star doesn't HAVE an innate feel for COMMITMENT in the West to Freedom and Democracy. He NEVER has been posted or spent lots of time in the Western world..
