The GOP is in the process of committing suicide. The Lincoln set represents the former Party, and the current iteration of Trumpism has evolved into a radical far rightwing institution, anti democratic and authoritarian. Just what the founders and framers of COTUS rejected.

Yes, cable news shows are mostly editorial, but a lot of it is presented as factual and that's my beef. Many people don't have the time to spend hours a day scouring sources for truth, and yet that's what it takes to ensure you have it right, or close to right in making an assessment. Even AP is not considered to be as neutral as formerly rated, but they're hanging in the middle somewhere still.
