Clinton Warns Israel: Don't Isolate Yourself

I'm surprised you're quoting one of the biggest sleazebags in US history, how is that relevant? it's like quoting Dick Cheney expressing his concern for social justice

he'd still kick the butt of anyone you ran against him today.

oops.

He is a serial sexual predator, but you don't care.

Yeah..But we're the bad guys because we think women should pay the $7 per month for the Pill.

Poor Hamas forcing their own people to be killed. You just gotta feel sorry for how hard they have to work making sure women and children are dying.
Hamas was elected by the people of Gaza to resist an illegal belligerent occupation by Israel. Jews are just going to have to accept the fact they will either share Palestine with Arabs or their apartheid state will vanish from the page of time.

Hamas was elected because if they voted for some one else, they woudl have not been found three days after election day..
Or, are you going to insist the election of the leader of a known terrorist group was totally legit?
Or is being on the controversial side of every issue your thing here?

"Elections for the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), the legislature of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) were held on 25 January 2006. The result was a victory for Hamas, who won with 74 seats of the 132 seats, whilst the ruling Fatah won just 45. In terms of votes received, Hamas took 44.45% of the vote, whilst Fatah received 41.43%[1] and of the Electoral Districts, Hamas party candidates received 41.73% and Fatah party candidates received 36.96%..."

"Israeli obstruction[edit]

"In the lead-up to the elections, Israel launched on 26 September 2005 a campaign of arrest against PLC members. 450 members of Hamas were detained, mostly involved in the 2006 PLC elections.

"The majority of them were kept in administrative detention for different periods.[12] In the election period, 15 PLC members were captured and held as political prisoners.[13]

"During the elections, the Israeli authorities banned the candidates from holding election campaigns inside Jerusalem. Rallies and public meetings were prohibited. Also, the Jerusalem identity cards of some PLC members were revoked.[14]

"The Carter Center, which monitored the elections, criticised the detentions of persons who "are guilty of nothing more than winning a parliamentary seat in an open and honest election".

Voters in Gaza had a choice between voting for the Salvation Army or the Mafia in 2006; obviously, your ignorance extends well beyond the US

You're right, of course, Bubba.

Repeated operations in Gaza can, indeed, have a detrimental effect upon Israeli foreign relations.

At least during those sequences when Hamas has not been played like a broken fiddle, and made to look the fool, for turning down a brokered ceasefire.

Perhaps this time the Israelis will slaughter Hamas in their thousands, and string the bodies up by their heels like feral mad dogs, to rot in the sun, and to serve as a warning, and to put an end to it.

That would certainly be one way to avoid repeated operations in Gaza, in the future.

Thanks for the stimulus, Bubba, I'm sure they'll consider the possibilities.

Now that IDF boots are in the Gaza tunnels, former president Bill Clinton has some words of advice for Israel:

"Former US president Bill Clinton has warned Israel about 'isolating itself from world opinion' due to repeated conflicts in Gaza.

"'Over the long run it is not good for Israel to keep isolating itself from world opinion because of the absence of a viable peace process,' Mr Clinton told the Indian NDTV news channel yesterday.

"'In the short to medium term, Hamas can inflict terrible public relations damage on Israel by forcing it to kill Palestinian civilians to counter Hamas,' he added.

"Hamas had a 'strategy designed to force Israel to kill their own (Palestinian) civilians so the rest of the world will condemn them,' while Israel could not 'look like fools' by not responding to the heavy missile attacks."

Of course, the choice isn't only between killing kids and looking foolish.
Israel could also choose to end its belligerent occupation of Gaza.

What "brokered cease fire" are you babbling about, Yeppers?
The one written by Jews and handed off to the Egyptian junta?
Stick to pictures of scary Jews with big guns:lol:

Have people here really still not figured out Hamas does not want peace with Israel?

you should have said liberfool people, we "Cons" understand Hamas, i.e., Muslimes do NOT want peace, never have since the Abraham vs Ibrahim conflict.

Abraham is called Ibrahim by Muslimes.

They're less of a problem for me than his Rwanda and Kosovo things.
How about you?

I'm sure you're all over big Bill's shit george.....use a condom though....who knows where his dick's been.

Bill Clinton..The walking petry dish
By tht look of it, I'm pretty sure that ol' Bubba is in trouble - medically.

I just saw a CNN video sound-byte featuring Bubba, and, dang!, but he looks thin and wasted.

Cancer's a muthaphukka and I would not wish that on anyone (outside of Hamas, et al) but I sense that Bubba is in trouble... poor bastard.

We all know how much affections Cons have for baby killers, don't we, Golda?

"'Ahmed Abu Hassera, who witnessed the incident at the shore, told Reuters: 'The kids were playing on the beach. They were all ... under the age of 15.'

"'When the first shell hit land, they ran away but another shell hit them all,' said Abu Hassera, whose shirt was stained with blood. 'It looked as if the shells were chasing them.'"

Heroic shit, right?

Of course they don't and neither does Hezbullah. They want to kill them all.

Hope the Isreali's pound the shit out of em and if those stupid civilians don't have enough sense to get out of the way then they deserve whatever happens to em.

Anyone who puts any faith in Hamas and those other dirtbags is an idiot of the first degree.

the problem is that idiots like you are as pathetic as the idiot o/p

At least they don't have to make believe they are an attorney in an effort to "win" a debate on this forum.

Like you did.

Have people here really still not figured out that the Zionuts migrated to Palestine determined to remove the Palestinians by any means necessary?

Come on Iran, all the Palestinians need is a rustic atomic bomb dropped on TelAviv.

This is like watching Mr T beat up Bill Gates and saying Bill didnt want peace with Mr T

inaccurate analogy.

It is like watching Bill Gates continually throw rocks at Mr. T and Mr. T retaliating and kicking his butt....and then Bill Gates throwing more rocks at him anyway.....and finally Mr. T says..."lets stop this now"...and Bill Gates saying "no"...and throwing more rocks.....

In other words,......seems you have not been paying attention to what is going on over there.

You are too busy defending The leader of the free world who....well....isn't leading much.

What "brokered cease fire" are you babbling about, Yeppers?...
The one that you already seem to have in-mind, below, of course. Why? Is there another?

...The one written by Jews and handed off to the Egyptian junta?...
Is that what happened?

Do you have credible, objective, third-party information to share with the class, to indicate that the Egyptian ceasefire proposal was initiated and formulated by Israel?

Didn't the Egyptian proposal simply call for a cessation of hostilities, a relaxing of some restrictions to allow more goods to pass through checkpoints, and, basically, a return to the 2012 ceasefire state?

Reports DO indicate that the Egyptians talked to the Israelis before floating the proposal and that they did not talk to Hamas, due to their disavowing of Hamas terrorism after deposing Morsi, I'll grant you that much, in all fairness, however...

The ceasefire proposal was sooooo bloody simple and uncomplicated that it seems likely that the Egyptians kept it as simple as possible and that the content was largely Egyptian in origin and that the Israelis really didn't have to tweak it... that they merely indicated that such simple terms would be acceptable to them in the interim.

Is it not more likely that Hamas rejected the ceasefire because it must now show its constituency that making Gaza a target again for 2000+ Israeli sorties against it was worth the price, and that the only way to make it worthwhile (while making Hamas look good [enough] in the eyes of its people) is to complicate a ceasefire to make it look more like a peace treaty?

A ceasefire is just that... a ceasefire... an interim cessation of hostilities... not a peace treaty... a temporary thing designed to hold until something more permanent is negotiated and put into place afterwards... regardless of whether the fools of Hamas try (and fail) to make a ceasefire into a peace treaty.

"The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity."

Their choices have consequences.

Here's hoping that Hamas enjoy the full-scale war and deaths of so many of their own, that their stupidity and intransigence have brought down upon their heads.

It's a pity that the people of Gaza have to suffer alongside them, but, then again, I'll bet that those same people are having Buyer's Remorse right about now, for having voted Hamas into power all those months ago. The best thing for them to do right about now is to stage an internal coup, remove Hamas from power by force, and make nice with Fatah.

...Stick to pictures of scary Jews with big guns:lol:
No problem. Wake me up when the scary Palestinians get some big guns themselves.

Jealous?

I bet you'd 'soil' yourself with orgasmic joy if the Palestinians got their hands on F-16s and M1A1's.

But it's never gonna happen?

Why?

Because they're mad-dogs, and nobody trusts them with the more dangerous flavors of toys.

Sorry. You're stuck forever at the kiddie table, in a weapons context.

Bummer, wot?

Its still Bill Gates vs Mr T dude. No matter how you want to craft it Israel is much stronger than they are and pretending that Mr T is scared of Bill breaking his jaw is both funny and sad

She also pretended to be Jewish. Which is the act of someone completely deluded. We see from her support of Hamas she is anything but.
