Try reading a history book and you will find that the US has averaged a recession less than every 8 years since the end of the great depression. They are built into our system and can only be delayed so long.

The biggest threat from a recession is runaway unemployment. We have never headed into a recession with a large worker shortage before. Companies do not have a glut of people to dump due to the recession, most cannot even hire enough to make it through the day. Thus the chances of runaway, long lasting unemployment is pretty much nil. And if a recessions does not have high unemployment, is it really a recession.

But look on the bright side, when the GOP takes over the House in Nov you all can take credit for pulling us out of the recession a few months later.

We appear to be moving in the opposite direction.

It'll take some tougher medicine to fix that "transitory" Bidenflation.
