CNN is throwing away their journalism integrity on the covering of the Trump New York fraud trial. CNN should stop only having analysts on that are so biased against Trump its offensive to watch and have at least a few analysts on that think justly that this case is a disgrace that it was brought and a real travesty of justice. This case is about valuations of real estate on financial statements, valuations to a large degree are subjective regularly one reads or hears in the media about a celebrity that sold some real estate for much less than it was originally listed for sale at. If someone in their financial statements is limited to comparable sale prices how can they get the potential sales price when they sell it because potential buyers will say you valued it lower than the listing price on your financial statement. The law is clear that banks and insurance companies are considered sophisticated business entities it is imputed on them that they know the fair value of property involved in their business transactions when a FS is used because they have the wherewithal the experts, etc. to discover it, they don't get to rely on a Financial Statement. It is alarming that the Attorney General of New York is bringing a fraud case about financial statements that she thinks the submitter of the Financial Statements over estimated the value of real estate what an alarming precedent, people that use and people that prepare such documents are now going to have to be worried about be dragged into court on fraud charges, in all fairness this is a misstep by the Attorney General that on basic fairness grounds should be grounds for impeachment!

CNN coverage here is an embarrassment to journalism. Anderson Cooper criticizing Trump for Trump's complaint that he has to come off the campaign trail to defend on this political trial and Anderson says well he doesn't have to show up at the trial, it isn't like a criminal trial. Only the stakes for Trump are his family business that he spent his life building and the business that his two oldest sons have largely given their life to operate and depend on to provide for their families, Cooper acting like such a jerk! He doesn't stop with the jerk behavior he calls Trump out for angry remarks about the case to the media before the trial about headline grabbing but he fails to recognize that it is a just counter to AG James' public condemnation remarks before the trial about how Trump is essentially going to get his reckoning!

CNN is so biased. Having pundits come on their programs saying well Trump claimed on his Financial Statement that his condo in Trump Tower was X number of square feet in size when it actually is a third of the number provided and acting like that is a smoking gun. I'm not a real estate expert but I know condominiums have titles in the local municipality title record office and I am sure banks or insurance companies have the capacity to check Trump's Condominium title in the respective office and discover the actual square footage. And in regards to over estimating the value of the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida I believe the court wants to value it at eighteen million dollars, I am not a real estate or a construction expert but know that is a completely unjust figure because one should be able to value a property at replacement cost and just an ordinary person with ordinary knowledge about construction work would know the cost to build that Club and estate today would be at least one hundred million dollars. I just wish and maybe it is beyond the capacity of CNN management but I just wish this organization would provide fair and balanced journalism that is the role of a Journalistic organization in a good democracy!

Having a link or two to some of this would be helpful.

CNN had zero journalistic credibility to lose in the first place.

The court didn't put that value on MAL. That was the tax valuation of the property. Trump contested that value was too high.

Ofc the DNC MSM propaganda arm is not happy with the results of today.

Their progress in the goal of having corrupt government ruin people for having different ideas and goals

was slowed some today.

Wrong. The local county assessor gave the property a tax valuation. The judge compared that valuation to the figure offered by the Trump team. And the judge concluded that since the Trump valuation was much higher 2300%, this amounted to “evidence of fraud” by Trump.

It doesn’t. The judge is absurd.

Trump has already been found guilty in a summary judgment. From now on it's gonna be on the dollar amount of damages leveled against Trump.

For a case like this to go to court there needs to be more than subjective overvaluations. If that’s really all you think there is to this trial then maybe you’re trusting the wrong media sources.

But if no laws or rules were broken and no damages inflicted. Trump should be just fine. We shall see what comes out in trial.

Nobody watches that vapid shit. It's like drinking out of the toilet. Kinda funny. I got home from work and flipped on CNN to see what you were talking about. First story is saw was the host talking to two lawyers. One a former college mate of the persecutor backing her side and the other laying out all of Trumps talking points. Seemed pretty rounded to me

Which fuckup network paid 775 million for lying again?

Wrong. The local county assessor gave the property a tax valuation. The judge compared that valuation to the figure offered by the Trump team. And the judge concluded that since the Trump valuation was much higher 2300%, this amounted to “evidence of fraud” by Trump.

It doesn’t. The judge is absurd.
How am I wrong? That was the tax evaluation as I said, and trump did contest that it was too high.
