When I was stationed in Oman, I had to travel fairly frequently to Qatar. The hotel I stayed at offered a huge breakfast bar. Amazing food. They put a French press out on the table. Great coffee.![]()
Until I was in my mid forties I could drink coffee any time of day and sleep great...
Then, suddenly one day, coffee after 4 pm became a bad idea.![]()
nonfat half and half and splenda..... not to hot, i like to drink it and not burning my mouth.
I drink it from hot to cold, just like my mother before me. It can sit there for hours, I'll stir it up and drink some more.
I don't think I could if it was black, though.

In the lobby of the Hotel Plaza De Armas on the square in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico is a bistro that serves the most wonderful cup of coffee on the planet. Two cups and you don't need to eat until the next day.
Actually, they also do really good meals too but that coffee was an absolutely delightful surprise.
The hotel was, uh, interesting. I took photos of the elevator... There was actually duct tape holding parts of it together.
