General Colin Powell went along to get along, and paid the price in credibility and political future. That does not change the fact that he had a very honorable career as a military officer in the service of our nation. In fact, I imagine that he has severe regrets in not telling the Bush Admin to shove the whole lie up their ass, and walking out on them. Had he done that, he might now be President. However, he is still a very intelligent man, and his assessment of Trump is spot on.
