House rejects withdrawal from ISIS war TheHill

Congress voted to authorize a $500 million train and equip program

.
Wow, Republicans want to cut school lunches and education and infrastructure here but want to spend another half trillion on the Middle East after the trillions they spent under Bush. What does it take for Republicans to want to invest in this country? Why do they love the Middle East more than they love America?

We as a country have been sticking our noses into the whole region for so long now we really have only two choices. We either cut our losses and come home which means come home and stay home. Or we can beat them back to the stone age, but to do that we have to fight a total war, no more half-assed clean war. We would habe to prove that we mean business.

You know $500 million isn't half a trillion. With $500 million you only get half of an obamacare web site

Cut our losses. There's nothing for us there.

Yep. ISIS is an issue, but there are plenty of ways around it like selling weapons to/arming the Kurds or just turning a blind eye to Iranian militias.

500 million is a half a billion not trillion.
Yea, but when they sent 10,000 more troops over there, send bombers and drones and aircraft carriers and all the other equipment they want to send. Plus the cost of all the US soldiers that you know will get injured, it will be over a half trillion more than the three trillion they already spent. You know that. Admit it.

lol...
I wonder...how much will wind up in pockets here and there? Hows THAT math answer?

yes farmer AND....that traitor also said that we'd be greeted as liberators, we'd be out in 6 months
