Corporations Open the Cash Spigot for Trump’s Inauguration — Chevron, the oil giant, has given $500,000 for the dayslong festivities. Boeing, which has been a target of Mr. Trump, pledged $1 million.

That is sheer

, and is FAKE NEWS!

The corporations no more opened the cash spigot than a stone throws itself into the ocean. Some individuals raided the corporate treasury and took out money and sent it to Trump for his use.

Their money, their business to spend as they wish.

Are you actually upset about the notion of NOT spending other people's money?

But it wasn't "Their money": they took money from the corporate treasury, as already noted.

Uh...officers of a company are authorized by their stakeholders to use the company's assets.

If someone took the money without permission, surely there is a police report you can show us? A lawsuit filed by the owner of that stolen money? Perhaps a Board of Directors has fired a corporate officer for spending money in this manner?

Do you have any evidence at all someone took that money without permission...or do you really not understand the difference between private and public funds?
