I had never heard of this. Must have spent too much time in the last few years working for pay to have heard anything about it. But the first episode of Motive was about a couple of boys who spent the nghts 'creeping.' They tried to be 'invisible' in they day, innocuous band geeks by day, creepers by night. Creeping is breaking into houses and taking out only a small souvenir.
I wonder if that is happening in my neighborhood. I see a lot of 'Posted' signs going up. A lot of people here are 'summer people' and they leave their places in the winter. I have been acutely aware that I have 3 former patients who live in this neighborhood, but, honestly, I don't think any of them would seek to harm me.
Seriously, around here creeping could be risking life and limb. I, personally, am armed and if I knew someone had broken in on me I would shoot to kill. It would NOT be worth it. Not in the least.
