We've had it fro 8 yr.s or more. Just put a new paint job on it last month, never bothered by police it looks like a prison bus,solid white. Thats the way I like it. Soem police even hawk the horn to us.

It was redone grandkid safe for trips always kept in good condition. All 6 of the tires are good maybe 5000 miles on them. New starter July this year.

Hubby put all around new disk brakes on it 2 months ago. Inside is nice totally insulated ,cabinets, toilet,captain chairs, let out bed. grat heater, window AC.

7yr.s ago put new king pins, axel bearings, wheel bearings, bushings,etc, Kept in top shape lubed and engine is great.

I always wanted a school bus but hubby said no, finally I got it even if he didn't like it. After awhile he loved it too.

Sticks and staple RVs come apart in a wreck like matchsticks. School buses are built to protect.

No but I've been under it, taking out all thsoe seats was my first time under the bus. It took two to take out seats, one inside one under.

If you hippy up or game up a bus cops will suspect drugs or at least drinking on board. We don't drink or do drugs but its also safer from crime and with 11 grandkids and 7 great grand kids I like safe as possible.

up Insurence is $45 a mon. tag is $68 a year. Can't beat the low cost and we've put about 8 to 10,000 miles on it. July 4th,2016 we went to Atlanta 800 mi. round trip, starts right every since we had it, but on July trip we did put new starter on it.

Hubby doesn't like to travel so tired of arguing about it. I love to travel my favorite soundtract song is about traveling.

Sold the bus the first day on a rv site. They are flying in from Denver to pick it up.

I love my bus but my co-pilot and I are no longer able to keep it up. Just washing it is a job and wax on wax off to keep new paint nice is debilitating. I don't do ladders that good anymore. And mopping the roof is no longer safe. I use to use my large janitors mop on it while balancing on a ladder. All that water get the rungs in the ladder wet and last tiem I almost fell off.

Now its back to the tent I guess. I don't do strange beds in motels. No tellign who or what slept in those petri dishes.
