• Wash., DC set up as a DISTRICT so as to NOT represent any special interest, so, DEMOCRATS ARE FOR CHANGING IT.

Yeah, while at it, they will probably propose renaming streets to honor "heroes" of recent protests.

We could see streets names like Looter's Lane, Arsonist Avenue, ACAB Street, Kill Whitey Court, Orwellian Way, Reparation Road, and of course, Black Lives Matter Boulevard in the future.

I suspect that Speaker Pelosi realizes that sooner rather than later, President Biden will gently ask her to retire.

So she wants to go out with a bang. She will, of course, be remembered (if at all) for her pathetic kneeling stunt. Renaming D.C., she probably hopes, will assure her reputation as a social justice warrior.

In all fairness to the lady, Washington, D.C., will be renamed sometime down the road.
