December Jobs Number Falls Short of Expectations

The trouble for the Trump administration is that "economists" set the bar too high in a roaring economy. If jobs increased by 148,000 under Barry Hussein the economists would be pleased by the growth.

Obama's fault.
If Obama was president you would blame Bush.
I've never seen a group of willfully blind idiots like the ones on here.

Yeah, there would be Blame on Bush just a year out from when he was president. Just like Obama is due credit/blame since it's been just a year since he was president. Our country doesn't hit a reset button the day a new president takes over.
Yes, it does. Investors plan ahead and make decisions based on the future. NOT THE PAST

The economy doesn't start from scratch. Don't be dumb.
The economy runs on predictions & prognostication. This economy is 100% Trumps. Good or bad these decisions are based on his agenda & the gop.

#dealwithit
That's a stupid thing to say. the economy runs based on policies, some of which are enacted by President X, and some of which are enacted by President Y, etc.

You provide no evidence to back up your mind-reading assertion as to what economists would say. You're not a psyhic.

FACTS that make liberal's heads explode - Over the last few months the industries that have been performing particularly well have been construction and manufacturing, middle-wage, middle-skill sectors that had been lagging under Obama. Following a disappointing Obama 2016 manufacturing added a solid 196,000 jobs in 2017. Construction payrolls increased by 210,000. Mining employers also posted solid gains throughout 2017, bucking a trend of job losses in recent years under Obama.

Employment to Population ratio is falling since Trump Repubtards Deficit Exploding Inflationary Budget & Tax Cut. Sept=60.4% now Dec= 60.1%

Lots of jobs available if people will work instead of collecting welfare. I see help wanted signs all over the place.

Unemployment at 17 year low = bad, liberals have lost their minds.

Literally no one is saying that low unemployment is bad. Please join reality.

Just the OP, a lying twisted half truth spewing scumbag liberal.

The OP said nothing remotely close to that.

Are you dumb or a liar? It has to be one of the two, no other option.

Telling half the story, spinning, twisting, in a display of intentional dishonesty a founding principle of liberalism. :itsok:

Telling half the story, spinning, twisting, in a display of intentional dishonesty & Flat Out Lying is the very definition of Trumpism

Whatever you say. I guess that makes you a liberal.

More of this guy's juvenile nonsense. The facts, from a CNBC article:
In contrast, in Obama's final December, the economy only added 156,000 new jobs (https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/empsit_01062017.pdf).

Labor Force Participation Rate fell from 63% to 62.7%
Employment to Population Ratio fell from 60.4% to 60.1%
Repubtards will lose the House & Senate in 2018 election.

If the RWnuts here were to claim that it would be nothing more than another routine flip flop on their part.

Oh, I see your parents let you use their computer again. As usual, you ignore or dismiss all the evidence that contradicts your talking point and cling to one datum that seems to support it.

Let's see: Manufacturing is up. Jobless claims are lower than they've been for a long, long time. Consumer spending is up. Corporate profits are up (I know you think that's bad, but corporations are the ones who provide the middle-class jobs that you guys always claim you want). Billions of dollars in foreign money for infrastructure spending in the U.S. are on the way, thanks in large part to Trump's efforts. Unemployment is barely over 4%. GDP growth has exceeded 3% for three quarters in a row, and 3Q growth was faster than it has been in three years. Our trade deficit is improving. A major private economic analytics firm estimates that the economy added 250K jobs in December. Several more positive developments could be noted. But, nah, you choose the BLS number for job growth in December and ignore everything else.

It's Trump's fault, right?

The question is directed at all of those who gave him credit for the good reports lately.

Job gains disappointment, unemployment holds at 17-year low
Conservatives will blame President Obama.
Why, Obama created jobs at a much faster rate than Trump. Obama is the Only President to reduce the number of government employees. Since Trump policies & Fiscal Year started on September 31, 2017 he has actually increased the number of citizens Without Jobs.

Trumptards increased Non-Working population by a Million people since September. What a bunch of losers. Workers Not winning with Trump. Inflation is off the chain with Trump!
