This is the mantra we've been hearing from democrats for decades. Whenever a republican wins the presidency without winning the popular vote the din gets exponentially louder.

For the last four years we've heard nothing but how Trump and republicans are "Threatening our Democracy" in various forms as though democracy itself is a new religion.

If Roe and Casey are in fact reversed by the Supreme court all it does is put the question of abortion back in the hands of the states and the democratic process so why are they in such a panic today?

"Democracy" is what they are crying for and now they are crying that they might get it.

Democrats are doing everything they can to destroy democracy.
They want a pure democracy thinking it will result in perpetual power for them.

What they seem to forget is that "Democracy" is nothing more than 3 wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.

Sooner or later the political pendulum always swings back from the extremes.

Plus it is the Democrats who are trying to take away freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.

They don’t want any form of democracy. They are totalitarians. They want absolute conformity, anything less, they burn you at the stake.

Well they talk out of both sides of their head so often it's hard to figure out what it is they actually believe. When they aren't in power however it's obvious they want a pure democracy not bound by law or The Constitution, they prefer that we be ruled by the edicts of whomever they choose for President.

It’s not “hard” to figure out what they believe or what they want.

They want to destroy this country. Everything they do is in support of that Agenda. They support any policy that is bad for America, and they oppose any policy that would better the nation.

Play it safe & support a constitutionally based Republic that also has a Bill of Rights!

A Constitutional Republic as ours was by design is the best way to ensure our rights are protected.

It isn't perfect since there's no limits on what the Supreme Court can do, but it's the least bad option we have for now.

Democrat Party before Country" is their official motto.

The powers you suggest are as stolen as the last election.

“If the framers—the authors and, most important, the ratifiers of the Constitution—had decided to grant the power, one would expect to see it, like the analogous presidential veto power, not only plainly stated but limited by giving conditions for its exercise and by making clear provision for Congress to have the last word. It appears that the framers mistakenly envisioned the power as involving merely the application of clear rules to disallow clear violations, something that in fact rarely occurs.” Professor Lino Graglia, https://www.hoover.org/sites/default/files/uploads/documents/0817946020_1.pdf

A series of essays, written under the name ‘Brutus,’ warned of exactly the situation we find ourselves in today:

“…they have made the judges independent, in the fullest sense of the word. There is no power above them,to controul any of their decisions. There is no authority that can remove them, and they cannot be controuled by the laws of the legislature. In short, they are independent of the people, of the legislature, and of every power under heaven. Men placed in this situation will generally soon feel themselves independent of heaven itself.”
Brutus, March 20, 1788

There's a reason those are covered by the first two amendments. They are the most essential to freedom and liberty.

That's also why the left is focused on them so intently.

Because they believe the will of the people will not reflect what they want and that is late term abortions…

They do not believe in Democracy because if offered to vote on abortion and list the different options they know they will fail to have anything past the first trimester unless it involves rape, incest or a threat to the mother or unborn child health or both…

They would also discover many minority communities would be against their late term abortion wishes and this would damage the Democratic Party…

Now do I believe the GOP will overplay their hand by trying to ban abortion on the Federal Level and in some States?

Yes, but on the Federal Level it will take a decade to attempt but on the State level Oklahoma and Texas will try, so let see what the people of each State will do during election season…

Exactly. The left talks about democracy but that is the last thing they really want. They want to rule.

Ruling means you keep your damn moth shut if you disagree with your Marxist socialist government and you turn in your guns as your government will protect you in a workers paradise. You are not smart enough to have opinions of your own and you damn sure are not responsible enough to own lethal weapons. You might use them to overthrow your masters.

Note: I don’t the possessive worker’s paradise or workers” paradise but instead workers paradise as the workers do not own the paradise. Their master do.
