Democracy: Tyranny of the Majority?

Meaning I've read enough of your horseshit to know that you have some wildly off base notions, and your own custom definitions. Also, unless I'm mistaken you're a China cheerleader, right?
What do you think of having a referendum on the ACA?

Donald H, I understand well. It is you who presents so poorly.
I've been careless on the question on purpose. But I've chosen you to do a better job of explaining. That's a compliment!

As it stands, not a single one of you fkrs have shown they have a clue.

Here's cueing you up: How about a referendum on the ACA?

ACA is unconstitutional. A referendum won't change that. You should actually watch the video.
If it wasn't a dunce like you, I would say you might have stumbled on a partial answer.

Now you have to explain why it would not be constitutional in a republic or a democracy.

I won't bother waiting to hear that you can't.

Slow horses, maybe??

See, this is the kind of incoherent shit post that makes any discussion with you pointless.

Here's a question for you, quizmaster. Is China a democracy, a republic, or the inevitable authoritarian endgame of state socialism?

When Dems are in charge, it’s the tyranny of the majority.
When Reps are in charge, it’s the will of the people.

Nothing matters.

We are slowly expanding the population in percentages to being bums. Our leadership know there are problems and yet they continue in that direction. FEMA has taken criticism at times even before they were woke. No, they are putting equity as the major engine of the department. People are suffering and dying because of their ineptitude. I do not see how people living in those areas can keep voting for people who do nothing for them with the Prog majority shitting on flyover country constantly. Common sense says that real nasty hardliners need to start running for office. These men and women would have to be tough. There are people like that. And they would be the same as Prog politicians are now.

Uh....

Maybe you should discuss this with Donald H .

Direct democracy means that by controlling a very few bloated cities, the entirety of the country can easily be controlled. If the cities should be restive, the democrats can see "We will increase your benefits by taxing those stupid small town people. We will be fair, Vote on it.

Progressives are on track to win the culture war and take over the government near totally. Republicans are going to need more than four years to change the mindset of Americans. The war on people living outside cities is real. The war on people living within cities is real and it is Prog on Prog. And people seem to like it.

Mkay.

Alright then, here is the kindergarten level answer.

The key differences between democracy and republic are123:
  • In a democracy, people directly participate in government decisions, while in a republic, they elect representatives to make decisions on their behalf.
  • A democracy is typically confined to a small area, while a republic can be extended over a larger region.
America is inhabited by a package of turnips.

ACA would win hands down.

I was just sent this video. I don't know how old it is, but it certainly rings true today.

There's only one thing saving us and that is the senate filibuster, which democrats continually talk about ending, which they tried doing already and, thankfully, failed. If that goes then the 50.1% will be able to do whatever the hell they want to the other 49.9%, the Constitution be damned. Dictatorship would be the outcome.
