A prominent Democrat strategist, Julian Epstein, has issued a cautionary statement indicating that President Donald Trump still outperforms Kamala Harris in the polls. This doesn’t bode well for the Democrats as they struggle to maintain their foothold. In addition to this, Epstein, who previously served as the chief counsel for the House Judiciary Committee, pointed out that Harris is rapidly losing supporters in the Rust Belt region. Such a trend could spell disaster for her and the entire Democratic party.
Despite having reportedly secured enough delegate support to clinch the Democrat nomination just last week, Harris’ prospects are dimming. This news came merely two days after President Joe Biden announced his decision not to pursue the Democrat nomination and endorsed Harris as his chosen replacement for the 2024 presidential election.
During an interview on Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria,” Epstein expressed concern over how working-class voters gravitate more towards Trump.
“You really have to look at an average of all poll results,” Epstein advised show co-host Cheryl Casone. “If you consider an average of all poll results, Donald Trump leads by about one to two points in national elections and continues leading in most battleground states,” he added.
