We never had even one state halt the count at midnight and send people home, saying they would reopen at 8:30 a.m. the next morning. In 2020, we had five.

Most states are normally called on the basis of PROJECTIONS. Except those five states were too close to call.

Just like Florida was in 2000, and we didn't get a final count for weeks.

Actually, impeaching a president after he leaves IS reasonable if you take the position Trump has is that everything he does is legal unless he is impeached, and he is immune after he leaves office.
