The Federal Election Commison is looking at expanding voting to 2 or 3 days so that COVID concerns can be met. Its a hell of a lot cheaper than mail in voting and more secure. I would go with this..

Dude....we already have early voting in almost every state.

and its signature verified... If your going to do it it must be postmarked one week prior to Nov 3 so it can be counted. It is limited in most states.. What dims are proposing is unverified voting.

Signature verified, big problem there. No one checking signatures will actually be a board certified document examiner and many people have great variation in their writing and/or have more than one signature, so this can only lead to many legit ballots being rejected.

In 2006, the Rs passed a bill that the post office had to fund their pensions for employees out for the next 75 years... out of their budget....

And the post office has not met a budget since.

The new law was meant to squash the post office.... it was INTENTIONAL.....

There is no private business or corporation that pays in to their pension fund, the next 75 years of retirement pensions in to it.

The People they have to estimate and fund a pension on, are not even born yet, for goodness sake!!!!

THIS IS THE REASON WHY THE USPS is not showing a so called profit.

AND why in the heck do you think a constitutionally mandated entity, as the post office is, even has to make some sort of profit. HINT they don't, just like the Military doesn't.

Republicans have USPS competitors as big donors and want to hurt or kill the post office, to RETURN their campaign donors favor.

It takes a while to adjust. Pres.Trump wants to postponed the election to a later date to fix the postal service. But the Dems doesn't want him time to fix the problems so that many errors will be made. They already have their people in place at the postal service to help out the Dems to rig the election.

Who removed over 600 high speed mail sorting machines from post offices all around the country? Why hasn't the newly appointed Postmaster General (who has no experience running a logistical operation like the U.S. Mail) not divested his stock in delivery companies in competition with the USPS?

Because the sorting machines needed do not exist today. They would have to be made and installed. This means the reconfiguration of most postal facilities. That takes significant time because of our contracting process. Its not physically fiesable to do inside 60 days.
