It was supposed to be the crown jewel of the Great Society. Huge sums of taxpayer dollars were poured in.

Now, it is bankrupt...and that is not the most disgusting feature of this Liberal/Socialist Experiment.

The most disgusting fact about Detroit is that, after many years of a corrupt bargain between the Democratic Party and Public Unions...like the Teacher's Union.....almost HALF of Detroit residents are functionally illiterate.

Mississippi has a better educated populace....by far.
