Democrats Want To Choose Our Next GOP Candidate: Mitch Daniels

The Right is going to be miserable with whoever gets nominated. That, in and of itself, is going to be fun.

Keep talking.

Fact is I could name at least 5 that would kick Obama's skinny ass all over the place.

Figure the odds on them winning the primaries.

You think? I only know of one for sure who could clean Obama's clock, but he is the junior senator from the least populous state, John Barrasso, R-WY. .: US Senator John Barrasso [R-WY] :: Welcome :.

"Needed--Fiscal Leadership, not PR Stunts" .: US Senator John Barrasso [R-WY] :: Press Office :.

Just sayin'.

I, for one, hope he runs

A lightweight like Obama wouldn't have a chance.

Dick Armey says Mitch Daniels would have 2012 tea party cred
Mitch Daniels, an establishment GOP favorite, could also have real tea party appeal, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey says.

Armey, who heads the tea party promoting group FreedomWorks, met with Daniels in Indiana Thursday and suggested the Hoosier State governor would have tea party cred.

Lousy Democrats!

LOLOL. If they can't produce any viable candidates its got to be a vast left wing conspiracy

This is the guy that seems to be the media favorite to be the next loser to run against Obama.

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels

The Dems are trying desperately to rig the election by making sure the field is to their liking.

They need a short white guy with a comb-over that won't put up a fight....like John McCain. I keep hearing similar rumblings about Daniels as was heard about McCain in the lead up to the 08' election. He's acceptable they say. Phfffft. WARNING!!!

Donald Trump is too spunky. Besides, he was never a serious candidate. But if he was he would be an antagonist and they can't have that. They can't have anyone up there that makes sense ether. They need someone with a milk-toast personality and blotchy skin.

A guy that looks like shit compared to the skinny, but taller Barack Obama. They want a guy that isn't really conservative so you can't really tell much difference between the two.

Mitch Daniels says his chances of beating Obama are quite good.
"I think the chances would actually be quite good," Daniels said, speaking to reporters after giving public service awards to state employees. "The quality and the number of people who have said they'd like to be associated is really quite awesome to me."

Daniels' comments came a week after he said he wasn't ready to debate Obama on foreign policy. They also appeared to break with a public image he's crafted of a reluctant and self-deprecating politician.

Excuse me??? I don't want someone who likes his chances. I want someone that wants to crush the lying prick. Not someone that thinks he can beat Obama. That is why Mitch Daniels is tailor-made for the Democrats.

Forget about Mitt Romney, or anyone who looks good in a suit. Forget about anyone who'll iron out Obama's twisted rational and use it against him. So forget about Harold Cain, Newt Gingrich, or Rick Pawlenty. They want somebody that the very sight of him turns off half of the voters. Voters that won't even listen to him because he'll be too old and wrinkly.

I swear to God, this is one of the reasons 20 year olds didn't vote for McCain. Because he's all wrinkly. Eeww!!!"

So Mitch Daniels is their choice. They need him, because most of the field of GOP candidates make too much sense or looks too impressive to allow them to get through the primaries. Unless they can find some guy in a wheel chair, or has the palsy, this is their man.

With acorn ducking out and pleading guilty, I suspect they will return real hard within the next year, but under a different name. There will be mass voter fraud "Like there was in 2008" and it doesn't matter who we run against the black communist. The black communist will win by voter fraud in 2012.

don't you imbecile hacks get tired of lying?

you lost. your candidate sucked.

get over it.

Viable? Are you actually saying that the Kenyan in chief is viable? He only got in due to voter fraud and Americas hunger for a half black president, now that they see him for what he is "A fucking socialist Chode", I would say he is now considered less than viable in 2012.

Lying about what? The proof is in the pudding with Obama, can you name one lie about him that the right said that isn't true?

I agree.

But Obama sucks too. Without his media friends he's nothing....and would be nothing if it weren't for them bailing him out when Rev. Wright surfaced.

He actually felt he was screwed. So they sent him to the Bahamas for 3 weeks and smoothed things over and he came back acting like nothing happened. The rest is history.

Oh, I don't know about that. The Obama handlers have done a superb job lately of making him into the all-American boy next door in order to let him loose on a second term of total unaccountability to a country that never swings too far right or left.

I don't think Senator Barrasso calls too much attention to himself, but he has one of the highest percentiles of conservatism around, yet his background is that of an orthopedic surgeon. He laid out the most superior case for a reasoned care program in place of the paper-heavy one Nancy Pelosi railroaded through telling her D-majority House to not worry about reading, just pass the bill type rhetoric.

The American public responded by giving the House over to conservative Republicans, but now Obama handlers and the Osama episode have given the press cause to rejoice.

If Republicans would go all out to train Senator Barrasso like the Democrats did for Obama, those who worry about traditional American values might continue to turn the tide for Republicans. I'm guessing it is a very special man and all the skills the RNC could muster who could beat the Obama/Clinton machine. He's the right man, it's just that Wyoming only has 2 electoral votes. Didn't seem to matter in the Bush/Cheney (R-Wy) ticket, though. They won.

This time, if they did catch on to Barrasso's lighter central gov., we wouldn't have all that mud flying around everywhere. Before he was elected Senator, Barrasso was appointed Senator by a Democrat governor.

The man makes good sense of issues, except he doesn't need handlers and a teleprompter. He's lived a life of exemplary service to other people and chaired the annual Children's Hospital fundraiser that Jerry Lewis sponsored all those years for the state he now represents in the Senate.

More deflection from a rightard. This thread isn't about the President. Its about the rights lack of serious candidates. Get it?

We know we have hit a nerve when we start posting about the Stimulus, the debt, about spiking the football, about foreign relations, about unemployment, about health care, about taking over private industries, about the drilling ban, etc.,.......

I recall similar sentiments about 2010. We see how that turned out.

The economy continues to sink.

The thing that stares everyone in the face is rising gas prices and rising utility bills and rising food prices.

Obama can run away from these all he wants. And he can't blame someone else forever.

Unless we see real improvement you are fucked you Obamamaniacs.
