I do enjoy when you all drop the charade of being for smaller government.

When you cheer for the government going after a business for 100% political reasons, you can never again claim to be either a conservative or someone that does not support massive government

And now DeSantis is threatening extra inspections: just for Disney. They're gonna build a state prison in the middle of Orlando....just to punish Disney.

And conservatives love it. They revel in corruption. They delight in abuse of power. The reason is simple:

For a conservative, power exists to create inequality.

To a conservative, the purpose of political power is to use the power of the State to reward their friends and punish their enemies. Where there is one set of rules for their allies. And another, harsher set of rules for their adversaries. The purpose of power for a conservative is to punish criticism, to suppress speech, to put private property under the dominion of the church.

This was always the plan. DeSantis is the truest expression of what conservatives actual want: retribution and dominion under the power of the State.

Freedom and liberty were never a part of what conservatives actually value. Whenever they talk about 'States Rights' its to strip people of federal rights so they can turn them into crimes at the State level. Its always to punch down.

Businesses weren't punished by the government for questioning vaccines. They were punished for failing to meet public health standards that apply to everyone.

Disney is being singled out *explicitly* because it criticized Ron DeSantis' 'don't say gay' bill. Disney is being punished for criticizing the government. And the conservative response is to use the government to punish businesse that criticize them......and put their property under the dominion of the church.

This was always the plan.
