Construction and agriculture can stop using illegal immigrants who I have seen myself get exploited and treated awfully by the employer. I gained a decent living by going behind these underpaid illegals and fixing their mistakes in the residential construction industry. So the employer ended up paying twice to get a job done instead of paying a qualified subcontractor to do the job.

I've condemned DeSantis many times in the past for excluding business from actually having to check the status of employees so I will have to give him credit IF the state actually enforces this. The law is one thing, enforcing it will be another. We will see.

Sadly with DeSantis I could see this being enforced in a political manner. But we will see.
