The July 8-12 survey found Trump topped Clinton by two points, 41 percent to 39 percent. Clinton also posted a higher unfavorable score of 58 percent compared to the president’s 55 percent. Trump beat her out in the poll even though Trump’s approval rating has been extremely low for a new president.
