More needs to be known about the circumstance. I was going out with an 18 year old girl when I was in my 20s, and found out she was only 16. Ended things right then and there. Some teenagers can pass for older.

I went to high school with a girl who could easily pass for 21 at 16--she used her older sister's ID to get into bars. (Though 5 years apart, they could pass for twins.) She even got pulled over once-nobody ever figured it out.
