A forged signature swapped for $1 — or sometimes a cigarette.

The crude exchange played out hundreds of times on L.A.’s skid row during the 2016 election cycle and again this year, prosecutors said Tuesday as they announced criminal charges against nine people accused in a fraud scheme.

Using cash and cigarettes as lures, the defendants approached homeless people on skid row and asked them to forge signatures on state ballot measure petitions and voter registration forms, the district attorney’s office said. The defendants — some of whom were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday — face several criminal charges, including circulating a petition with fake names, voter fraud and registering a fictitious person.

I hope Trump doesn't cave on the Medicare for all. Britain and other countries are started to see their health care system fall apart. You currently have better chances of survival for accidents or injuries here in the states even though the media will continue to praise the false virtues of socialism.

Bernie Sanders is pushing for socialized medicine but wants to go further and ban private insurers. Not enough for the left to do what they want, they must stop others from having a choice.

My body, my choice, except when it comes to keeping my plan, my doctor or being allowed to be treated for whatever ails me. The left wants to decide that.

So, not to get off track but Trump must realize that the media and the hardcore leftists are using the tried and true commie method of shaming and degrading anyone who disagrees. He has remained strong because he knows that most still support him and love this country. There is much to fear if leftists cheat enough to regain control.

What about this maybe ----------- Have a class level system that ensures that those who are less fortunate in life, at least get the medical treatments that they need in life, and this by way of paying a tax that put's them into a huge vast pool that is also paying the tax along with them at this level ??

Then anyone who wants additional private coverage above and beyond this level, then they can purchase it if they choose to do so.

The main thing is having healthcare available for every American. Nothing wrong with all competing forces making offers, and supplying the products to all citizens who desire those products. If the government can offer a competing plan for the citizens to purchase, then so be it. Not sure why the private sector is fearful of competition no matter who is creating the competition.

Now the government just like it is with any private sector company, shouldn't be allowed to be a monopoly that attempts to destroy the free market system.

We have to stop discrimination in the medical market place because American's are financially strapped at times in their lives. Don't ever think that it can't be you or any of us caught up in a bad situation that takes us down a notch or two. And just sitting back being comfortable while the poor might be mistreated because of their misfortune in life, is not acceptable.

We have room to explore all options available, and they should be explored.

The government doesn't want competition. That is capitalism. Thank God Trump understands that. The Obama administration was hell-bent on taking over as much of the private sector as possible, even telling companies what they should pay CEOs. That is not government's role. Most of what the left does is not in line with the limited powers allotted to government by the constitution.

They want total control over healthcare and the left, led by Bernie Sanders, wants to ban all private insurance companies. They want single payer, with government bureaucrats calling the shots on all care. Britain is already denying some care because it's rationed. You can only raise taxes so much and there comes a time when things get rationed because of cost and lack of available care. Too many nurses and doctors end up quitting and fewer are willing to go into the medical field. It always ends in disaster but the leftists want to head down that dead end path.

We currently have Medicare and Medicaid for those who need help. The left wants us all to be on government care, which does not have a good track record.

In areas where there are high populations of illegal aliens, many hospitals have closed. Too many don't pay anything for their care (mostly having anchor babies) and when the hospitals are paid with government insurance, they only get a fraction of the bill and are told to eat the rest. Hospitals can't survive when they don't take in enough to cover cost. Government-run healthcare is horrible because there is never enough money or resources so people go without care. Even military care, especially when overseas, was awful. Had to start calling at 8:00 to get appointment. Would get busy signal for over an hour and when I would finally get through, a recording would say all appointments were full and to try again tomorrow. It could go on like that for weeks. It was like trying to win at a radio call-in contest. If you finally needed to go to the E.R., you had to call first and get screened by a nurse before being given permission. Once at the E.R., you would be there all day or night waiting to be seen. And that isn't near as bad as it would be trying to put an entire country under this system.

Look at the VA. People died waiting for care.

When Obamacare was shoved through, the left claimed it was the answer to everyone's problems. Of course, having insurance doesn't mean you actually get care. And many low income people still had to pay through the nose for their plans. It's insane. Never worked. Prices immediately started to skyrocket. Now they think they can do the same thing on a bigger scale. Lord help us.

Trump knows what he is doing. He is not racist. He is not mean. He has done so much for minorities and the poor in the past. The left used to love him and that only stopped when he ran as a Republican. He knows darn well that the hatred is nothing more than them playing politics and being incredibly sore losers. He does tend to rub salt in Hillary's wounds, which is well-deserved.

You do know that it would have been any of the republicans (who ran against Trump), that would have taken power in that election over the Demon-crats in 2016, and yet to the Demon-crats joy, it is that they were estatic that Trump won because they figured him to be the easier to destroy when they started right out the gate attempting to do so, and then their next move was to take the republicans down with him.

Well so far they have been proven wrong in their thinking, and Trump has driven them slam crazy ever since. LOL.

The quest of the Demon-crat's is not just to take Trump out, but to take down conservative Christian America with him.

The Government under Trump should counter in every way possible in order to slow the movement down and/or to win back the hearts and minds of those who are lost if at all possible.

Maybe even counter by using their own playbook against them. They have opened the treasury up to feed their movement for decades now, and if money is the answer, then dangle it in front of the faces of those on the fence in order to win back their loyalties. A strong economy is the answer, and Trump knows this, and he has been giving the nation this, but the free that the left has promoted and promised for decades is a tough one to overcome.

Closing down the free stuff now or at this point, only plays straight into the Demon-crats hands. It's time to fight fire with fire.
