............“He sees a man who, aspirationally, he would like to be like,” said Danielle Pletka, who directs foreign and defense policy studies at the conservative American Enterprise Institute. Referring to Mr. Trump, she added: “His instincts are authoritarian, and dangerous.”

Peter D. Feaver, a Duke University professor who served on the National Security Council under President George W. Bush, described Mr. Trump’s admiration as “deeply troubling.” He recently joined 49 other Republican foreign policy veterans in a public letter that condemned Mr. Trump for lacking “basic knowledge about, and belief in, the U.S. Constitution, U.S. laws and U.S. institutions.”

Mr. Trump has publicly urged Russian hackers, whom American intelligence officials believe broke into Democratic Party computers, to gain access to Hillary Clinton’s email account. He notes that he could team up with Mr. Putin, who “says great things about me,” to wipe out Islamic State terrorists.

“Putin is playing him” for his own reasons, Mr. Feaver said. Those reasons, he added, include the Russian leader’s hope that Mr. Trump will weaken NATO, reduce America’s role in global affairs, and leave Moscow a freer hand.....................

The guy is dangerous and Hitler like.

Nah. I like the fact he screws you people up. But he's not dangerous at all. It's a fact that Putin is a better leader than Obama. He completely out smarted Obama on Ukraine and Syria, and at the same time he still has the backing of the Russian people.

He is a better leader. We need a better leader. It is possible to be a better leader, and not be an immoral leader like Putin.

Additionally, Trump said very openly that Clinton's criminal private email server, was likely hacked by Russia, and if so he hopes that they would find the missing emails, and release them.

Well if I already believe they hacked the server, why would I ask them to hack her server? I wouldn't. Nor did Trump. But if they already have the emails, then they already have them. So, yeah, I hope Putin releases the Emails too.

Trump didn't say anything dangerous. What is dangerous is a crazy chick, with 20 years of non-stop scandals, who can't even tell the truth about a terrorist attack that killed an ambassador, being given the powers of the presidency. That's what is dangerous.

If Putin is so bad, why did Obama promise to be more flexible after 2012?

Why does anyone still remain so utterly stupid as to pay attention to what comes out of the mouths of corporate state american politicos when they know we're all being played?

If Putin is so bad, why did Obama just make an agreement with Putin, over Syria?

Darn right-wing logic.

Lets see if even you can figure this out.......There's an old Arab proverb that states, "the enemy of my enemy is my [temporary] friend..."

So, you make deals with people you don;t like (as we did with Russia in WWII),,,,BUT to declare admiration and love of Putin and calling him a "great leader" is a bit perverted, don't you think?

Is that worse than laughing at Romney when he said Russia was a big threat in 2012?

He has been spamming this board with bullcrap and crowding threads with his low I.Q. drivel.

This article has nothing to do with Trump. It is the meanderings of a man with too much time on his hands imagining Trump.

No, not at all. I take you have never met a complete and total jerk, that was very good at what they did? I have. I've met horrific individuals, how were absolutely fantastic at what they did. I've had a couple of managers like that. People who were fantastic managers. They got stuff done. But they were also stuck up, arrogant jerks, that looked down on everyone. Which is why they were often more isolated and lonely, making them even bigger stuck up jerks.

Putin is in fact, a very good leader. Even a great leader. We disagree with his methods, which are horrific.

But the BBC did a documentary a few years ago, and many of the Russians they talked to, said yeah, but that's how it has to be. The leadership has to be tough, because they are dealing with a tough people.

Now again, we think that's horrific. But the fact is, they like him. I'm and genuinely convinced that the general public of Russia, likes Putin, and supports Putin.

Is that not what it means to be a leader?

"a process of social influence in which a person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task"

That's one definition of leadership. Putin has this. Does he not? He has this far more than Obama ever did.

Doesn't mean he is doing wonderful things with his leadership. But he still has leadership.

One irony of this entire thing recently with Putin, is that the left-wing was constantly supporting Putin up till the recent. It's odd that suddenly they are swinging away, when they perceive that Putin might somehow be against Hillary... which I highly doubt.

I think Putin would far better like Hillary in Office, where he could play with her like a toy. I don't think Trump, with his ego at stake would be toyed with as much.
