Porn is an addiction and a health crisis. The speeches to be given at the convention reflect conservative ideals; though many in attendance fall short. But because a person falls short, does not mean the ideals are scrapped. Ideals exist for a reason.

The basic difference between conservatives and LGBT cultees is that the former says "we need some type of basic moral moorings, regardless of individual failings". The LGBT says "if it feels good, DO IT! And if you slip in your convictions, you no longer have a right to yearn for your moral moorings again."
