Great Americans......which is preceisely why the Left fucking hates them

“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person,” Robertson is quoted in GQ. “Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field.... They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.” -- Phil Robertson

Mrs. Trump will be speaking tonight. She is expected to be wearing clothes and not profiling for soft porn jobs, however, it is a possibility she will show up scantily clad.

This is the first party convention in my entire life that I won't be watching.

My dad is so pissed at the GOP right now, he is literally suicidal. When Obama was elected in 2008, he told me, "I'm glad I am going to die soon." He denies ever saying that, but I remember it as clear as if it was yesterday.

Now, he has stopped eating, and it looks like he really has decided to die this time. This Trump/Clinton shit has really gotten to him. My mother is taking him to the VA today to try to get him on anti-depressants.

My mother and I discussed the whole "lesser of two evils" thing. She wants to vote for Trump just to keep Clinton from being elected, but I told her that is a huge mistake and just leads to us having more and more evil choices from which to choose. I told he we need to send a message to the GOP that we will not let them force disgusting pigs like Trump down our throats, and that they deserve to lose until they get their shit together.

I told her I was going to write in my vote. She said she supported Ted Cruz.

I was going to write in John Kasich, but now I am going to write in Ted Cruz. For mom.

My dad's birthday is November 8, which happens to fall on Election Day this year. I told my mom to tell my dad I will be home for his birthday and we can watch the election together.

She wrote back that he has decided that is enough reason to live until then.

Read my signature... It basically agrees with everything you just said. Cruz is Canadian and couldn't be POTUS even if everyone voted for him. Kasich can't be unless he is nominated. So might as well vote for the one candidate more conservative than the other, Hillary over Trump.

If Kasich is nominated, that is a whole new ballgame and your dad can throw away the anti-depressants and break into his happy dance...

Well, we don't agree on much, but all the best to your Dad. I lost mine ten years ago.... hard to believe it has been that long.

I'd tune in for her:

th

I'm sure you're just what she's looking for, too.

No ex President or Presidential contender will speak on his behalf. No Bush, no McCain, No Romney, No Dole
Major Republicans refuse to endorse him

I'm not a Trump voter, but frankly, I don't understand what is so damning about that. He was nominated by the Republican electorate specifically because the voters knew those people wouldn't want him. He was perceived to be the anti-establishment candidate.

Also, with the exception of Bush, all of those guys lost, and the left despised Bush.
Yes...who needs loser Republican Presidents when you can have Chachi

You guys put way to much importance on the trivial the only speeches that will matter at either convention are those given by the nominee and their VP selection.
Oh Kasich not speaking means something. I suspect Trump will take Fla, so Rubio doesn't matter. Same with S.C, although in SC the gop could win running a dead person. Same with me in Miss.

The speeches don't mean anything to us. But they do matter to state parties. Donald will win some states even without party support. But will he win enough?

ps, and if this comes off like the amateur comedy hour, and Donald's ridiculed by the MSM, that will matter too. Donny hates ridicule.

Funny....Republicans chose Cleveland to help their chances in critical swing state Ohio

Then Trump gives the finger to its popular governor

So what?

Trump's appeal is to the common man and woman.......the voters.

He could give a flip about the establishment has-been's and wannabe's. .......

A man is judged by the friends he keeps

Women too. Funny how that works.
