Dunderheaded Leftist Myths about Capitalism

Wages for workers haven’t gone up since Reagan cut taxes for billionaires.

Link?

You can’t be serious. You don’t remember “voodoo economics”? Google it you stupid dolt.

Reagan’s entire economic legend is built on those tax cuts.

You can’t be serious.

You made the claim, you don't have a link?

You don’t remember “voodoo economics”?

I remember across the board tax cuts.

Reagan’s entire economic legend is built on those tax cuts.

I know, they were awesome!! Gave us some great growth.

Now back to your unsupported claim........

We should raise their taxes. What could go wrong?
We would have more revenue for infrastructure, education, healthcare
Not nearly enough to make much difference. It's a pipe dream given the way Congress works because every new dollar in revenue would be met by at least $2.50 in new spending. But, hey, it'll make you feel good that you're sticking it to the rich guy. Then, of course, they'd have to extend it down into the middle class, which is where the wealth really is.
Not really

Since we sold out to Supply Side we have shortchanged infrastructure, education and healthcare.

Sorry…can’t afford it

Nothing in your post is true.

Well the rest of the first world has been investing our tax revenues into education, infrastructure, and programs which benefit new businesses, low income families, and depressed economic areas, the United States of America has been investing all of their revenues into wars in foreign countries and tax cuts for billionaires.

One cannot help but notice that the moment you pulled out of Afghanistan, Republicans start started screaming about the dangers of China and how China must be militarily restrained immediately for the good of the world.

Republicans don’t want the government spending money on their people or on their country. They want billionaires to continue to receive 80% of the wealth of the nation until the middle class is completely strangled and subservient.
Nothing in your post is true. Enough said.

Match up the numbers. Compare getting, say, another 20% from the top 1%'s income to how much new spending you want, then remember how quickly and extremely Congress meets any new revenue with more unnecessary spending, then get back to us with how we're going to "catch up" in those areas.

Since you can’t really refute a single word of it, you simply deny reality.

Trump railed against the American trade deficit when he was running for office and promised that he would eliminate the trade deficit and restore the US to the trade surpluses that made your nation wealthy.

Instead of closing the trade gap, Trump added $200 billion per year to the annual US trade deficit in hard goods. Off shoring continued unabated under Donald Trump. Even his much touted Carrier deal to save American jobs, delayed the closing of the plant by mere months.

Instead of putting money into retraining coal miners for jobs in the 21st-century in the green economy, building windmills, installing solar panels, Trump spent millions of taxpayer dollars trying to revive and promote the coal industry, cancelling clean water and air regulations to “save coal”.

No jobs were saved. Coal mines continued to go bankrupt. And air and water quality throughout the United States deteriorated, costing American lives.

The only success Trump had with his tariffs was to increase jobs in the steel industry. But while steel production added 40,000 jobs, higher steel prices due to the tariffs resulted in the loss of 200,000 jobs in manufacturing.

In the meantime, back to reality. . . .
the person that pays you has more money than you ...its a little more complicated than that but hopefully i simplified it enough for you .
Now you are getting it…

So why do we help those that already have so much more than everyone else?
In the meantime, back to reality. . . .

What the FUK does that have to do with ending Supply Side Policies that only make the rich richer?
Myth

It's obvious you're obsessed with TRUMP!. I was talking about Congress, surely even you can realize that. Run the numbers. Assume you'll get 20% more tax revenue from the top 1%, then compare that to how much you think you'll need, and remember that Congress will always spend more than it gets. TRUMP! has nothing to do with any of that. You do realize that, right?

What the FUK does that have to do with ending Supply Side Policies that only make the rich richer?
You are more willing to converse with the other side than most. What makes you think only the rich benifit from supply side economics? While constantly attacked, it seems hard data should prove everyone benefitted, not just the rich. Also, has it not been proven that you can not extract enough money from the wealthy to make life better for the poor. It is simply not enough money for the results you want. Making it easier for business to succeed, and the free market, is the only way to increase overall way of life. I'm not understanding where you find data that shows a better or feasible way of having a prosperous country.

What makes you think only the rich benifit from supply side economics?
Because supply side relieved business and the rich of the obligation to pay for social programs. It was assumed that money would trickle down to workers and the poor in other manners……It didn’t happen, they just kept the money.

The burden of paying more for healthcare and higher education was shifted to the working class

You moonbats have been constantly sniveling about infrastructure, education, and healthcare (none of which are federal responsibilities in the first place) since way before Reagan....Just STFU.

He doesn't "converse", he barfs out stale leftbat platitudes and slogans as though they have any relevance to anything.

Before Reagan we had major infrastructure projects, affordable healthcare and higher education

After we followed Reaganomics, we no longer did

Which doesn't refute the fact that you leftbats have been sniveling about those things since Christ was an altar boy.

Your idiocy also falsely presumes that one necessarily begat the other...You really are one stupid mofo.

Because they are important issues.

They have all degraded since Reagan sold us on supply side
