During slavery blacks were shot if they got caught learning to read or teaching others to read. Today they prevent themselves from learning proper English.

One has to be exceedingly stupid IMO to think there is anything wrong with a college instructor taking spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. into consideration when grading a paper.

Witnessing the many spelling and other errors posted in here though I expect a lot of low info bozos to either disagree or just plain not get it.
