Water companies feel the heat as commercial bans loom in dry summer
Suppliers may be forced to cut large-scale usage by businesses amid fears of a repeat of last year’s heatwave
Water needs to be renationalised. It is absurd that private companies can award themselves huge dividends whilst failing to provide a basic service..
They are aided in this by a supine regulator who imposes token fines for dismal performance.
Privatisation of water has been a miserable failure. We need a socialist solution to keep our rivers clean and our taps flowing.
