The man heard voices. And he wasn't Muslim.
Where in there does it say he wasn't a Muslim?

More to the point - where does it say he was?
Agreed. This is getting silly. It doesn't say he wasn't an alien invader from Mars either. Should we think it's a viable possibility? No.

Santiago was hearing voices, obviously a sign of mental health problems. Probably schizophrenia since the voices were telling him what to do over a period of time. We'll know more about his background and connections in a few days.....at least those of us who don't believe the CIA killed JFK and is running ISIS.

That was one of my choices, but being little naysayers for naysaying's sake that you are, that's why you left it out of your quote of my post.

#3 was he is crazy and actually believed the government was forcing him to watch ISIS videos.

Try to digest what you read before responding.

Agreed, plus a legislation on how to both help American citizens with mental health issues, but to do so with minimum impact on their Constitutional rights.

Correct and I did. I also digested the multiple posts you made claiming he was Muslim because he had a scarf, beard and pointed his finger sideways. It's supposed to be up like this:

Do you think this guy is a Muslim?

I said he probably is. That's my opinion. But it's possible one of the other two scenarios are correct.

True. Anyone affiliated with Islam should be committed.

Ah. The broad brush.

Because there's been a lot of issues with Muslim violence in the West lately?
Some high profile violence, but you're more likely to be killed by a gang-banger for your watch and car than by a terrorist. Overall, you're more likely to get whacked by a texting driver than either gang-bangers or terrorists.

In this case, as in the case of several mass shootings, we're dealing with a nutjob. Yes, San Bernardino and Orlando were bonafide Islamic terrorists (although I think Orlando was more about the shooter's homosexuality than his religion). Other high profile mass shootings were nutjobs: Roof, Loughner, Holmes, Lanza and Dear all had a screw loose.

You paint Islamists as peaceful and trustworthy with a broad brush.

ISIS is incredibly skilled at targeting and exploiting vulnerable people. Not Esteban, since there is no evidende of that or that he is Muslim - but in general. They target the mentally unbalanced and mentally ill and exploit their illness to further their agenda.

We will have to wait and see I guess.
