It is not "bigotry" to refuse to favor one particular sect or to refuse to let one particular sect dominate every issue. The Democratic Party has not attached itself to one specific religious sect, favoring a neutral approach to the great variation of beliefs among the American People. The Republican Party has chosen to climb into bed with a certain, specific variety of Christianity, not shared by all Americans, and jumps to cater to its every desire. Who should have a "sense of shame" here?
