Explaining Trump and the debt deal to left wingers and anti Trumpers, by Charles Hurt...

Forget that Mr. Trump got elected promising to repeal Obamacare. Republicans have won four straight elections on that very same promise!

Repealing Obamacare is not a winner anymore.

And Trump claimed his administration was working on a plan to repeal it and replace it with "Insurance for everybody". No Trump plan ever saw light of day.

“It’s very much formulated down to the final strokes. We haven’t put it in quite yet but we’re going to be doing it soon,” Trump said.

Your Trump is a liar. He never had a plan. That is why he failed. Lies are catching up to him.

Trump vows ‘insurance for everybody’ in Obamacare replacement plan

Let’s review: Since the start of the year, President Trump has tried working with Republicans. He gave them a sterling, phenomenal Supreme Court justice.

Any Republican President would have given them the exact same thing. So that's no great accomplishment singular to Trump's alleged talents.

For their part, Republicans refuse to hear Mr. Trump’s advice. They backstab him and leak fake stories to the fake media about his White House.

Replace "Mr. Trump" with "Obama" and see if you can tell any difference.

I sure can't. It is the exact same whining from Trump as it was from Obama.

Forget that Mr. Trump got elected promising to repeal Obamacare.
Trump would like nothing more than the rubes to forget he promised to repeal AND REPLACE ObamaCare.

He's been erasing quite a few of his promises from his campaign web site as fast as he can!

He sat there, ready to sign a replacement bill......and the republicans didn't pass one.....he can't sign what they don't pass........that's on the stupid party, not Trump.

You mean the bill that had only a 17% approval rating? The one that every major healthcare organization, including the AMA, strongly opposed? In other words, the bill that no one wanted.
Trump basically admitted he didn't understand the healthcare industry.
He had no clue about the ramifications of the bill he was waiting anxiously to sign.
And you have as little of clue about the bill, as a two year old.
Brilliant!

Yeah....keep telling yourself those lies....the AMA is making money off of obamacare as are the rest of the health care groups.....

Why you asswipes want all Americans on a medical system that runs the VA.....is simply amazing.......

Trump said he had a replacement that people will love. Where is it?

...keep telling yourself those lies.

What are lies? Trump is the one that lied. He said he would present his almost finished plan giving every American health insurance, if he had it and it was good cheap insurance it would have passed in a heartbeat.

He had no plan. Trump lies, fool. When you figure that out perhaps you won't be Trump's useful idiot anymore.

I guess you think Trump truly helped the ACA repeal cause when he said for all to hear that the House plan was mean.

A non profit doesn't make money off of anything.

A professional association (also called a professional body, professional organization, or professional society) is usually a nonprofit organization seeking to further a particular profession, the interests of individuals engaged in that profession and the public interest.

For those anti Trumpers out there....democrats and dumb republicans........here is an explanation about why Trump did what he did....

Donald Trump sidesteps roadblock of Republicans

We have on our hands an economic, bureaucratic and political plague, and these people in the swamp are still clutching their pearls, gasping into their lace gloves and fretting over proper manners at the garden party that went broke long, long ago.

Let’s review: Since the start of the year, President Trump has tried working with Republicans. He gave them a sterling, phenomenal Supreme Court justice.

Despite all the venom from so many Republicans in Washington during last year’s general election, Mr. Trump helped the party keep seats in all four special elections where Republicans competed.

And despite the acrimony, Mr. Trump has been generous in explaining to Washington Republicans all the things that matter most to actual voters in America. He has worked strenuously to make good on the promises that got him — and many Republicans — elected last year.

For their part, Republicans refuse to hear Mr. Trump’s advice. They backstab him and leak fake stories to the fake media about his White House.

They join in with the barking, mouth-frothing hyenas to investigate this Russia canard and threaten the president’s family and personal fortune.

They call him a racist because he — rightly — called out the leftist thugs who agitate for a race war in this country.

And, finally, these syphilitic Washington Republicans are, apparently, constitutionally incapable of actually accomplishing anything.

Forget that Mr. Trump got elected promising to repeal Obamacare. Republicans have won four straight elections on that very same promise!

And they can’t even get that done, even as Mr. Trump stands at the end of Pennsylvania Avenue, holding his pen, weeping ink.

Yet these bozos are surprised that Mr. Trump finally had enough and is now playing footsie with Democrats?

And these are the “good guys” in Washington. Dear Lord, help us!

You've got to admit it's Hilarious. Ryan & McConell are the ones with the full house and apparently Trump had told them one hour before the meeting he would push the 18 month on the debt ceiling. Pelosi & Schumer walk in the door and propose a 3 month time limit on the debt ceiling. Trump the GREAT negotiator, the BIG Deal maker, caved on the first offer, and didn't even make a counter offer. They were all shocked, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. McConnell & Ryan red faced walking out that room, pissed off, while White House staffers actually apologizing to them.

The irony is that Hillary Clinton would have given Republicans a better deal because she would have had to negotiate with them.

The blessing is--we won't have Ted Cruz and his midget minons in the house running through congress threatening to shut down the government and defunding Obamacare, like they did with Obama over the last 7 years. They can't because Trump is cough-cough a Republican--

22darcy-birther-cruzjpg.jpg

The problem is--Nancy Pelosi is now writing legislation for Trump, and Trump's top adviser Ivanka wants child care subsidies.

ASTON, Pa.—Donald Trump proposed new federal subsidies for child care, including tax deductions, rebates for lower-income households and tax-preferred savings accounts, as well as a promise of paid maternity leave for workers who don’t have it.
Donald Trump Proposes Child-Care Subsidies

The worst is--Trump isn't impeached--and Democrats take over both houses in 2018. As he has proven he is not willing to stand up to Democrats, so he will just be a rubber stamp for every bill they put on his desk.

But who really believed Trump was a Republican anyway?

All Along I Thought Trump Wasn’t a Conservative/Republican, But Now I Realize I’m Not

RAMclr-031316-rino-IBD-COLOR-FINAL.jpg

So the war is on. Republicans in both houses won't trust Trump on anything--and Nancy Pelosi & Chuck Schumer have a new friend in the Oval office. These kind of stand-off's usually results in nothing getting done.

No matter how Trumpanzees try to spin this, Trump was so desperate to make a deal and stick it to his own party leaders, that he caved in utterly and gave Democrats everything they wanted.

This isn't "the art of the deal". It's total capitulation on Trump's part, disloyalty to his own party from the guy who demands total loyalty from others, and it's going to hurt in in the long run.

The master negotiator I used to work for said that going in, you ask for the sun, the moon and the stars. All you truly want is the sun. By asking for much more than you really need, you can give up something in the negotiations to make it look like a concession. If you're successful, you might get the sun and the moon, meaning you've come out with more than you need out of the deal, but it looks like you settled for less than you wanted.

Schumer and Pelosi asked for the sun, the moon and the stars and Trump said "Sure". Why? So the press would say he did something, instead of failing yet again to move anything substantial through the legislative branch.

So Trump screwed over his own party, gave the Democrats way more than he needed to give them to get the deal, and made himself look like a total pushover, just to get good press. "Winning", it ain't.

Now it's good to see Democrats getting what they want. Heaven knows nothing the Republicans were trying to do would have been good for the country, but Trump is going to need Republicans to keep from getting himself impeached down the road. This is no way to endear himself to McConnell or Ryan.

As always, Trump is his own worst enemy. God love him for it!
