a dive team is among the responders. It's understood that two people were aboard the Socata TBM700, a high performance single-engine turboprop. In the meantime, the United States has dispatched a P3 Orion surveillance aircraft to the site.

An unresponsive plane flying over the Atlantic Ocean is being watched by fighter jets, according to the North

American Aerospace Defense Command.The plane is a Socata TBM-700 light business and utility aircraft, and left from Rochester, N.Y. for Naples, Fla.As of 11:30 a.m. the occupants on the plane did not respond to attempts to communicate.The plane is being monitored jointly by NORAD and the Federal Aviation Administration, according to a press release.
