FactCheck: The original birthers were Hillary supporters

I love every opportunity to remind America that the only Birther running for President is Donald Trump

King of the Birthers.

So Right Wing Nut Jobs- do you believe that Hillary Clinton started Birtherisms and you are just her gullible dupes?

Or are just gullible Birthers?

LIke Donald Trump?

So what have we learned?

We have learned Hillary Clinton told the rubes to say Barack Obama was born in Kenya, and they are still obeying her instructions to this day.

ALLLLLLL righty then!

Okay then. I'm so devastated by this news.
I think she backed away about as fast as McCain ran from the notion of saying Obama isn't a Christian

but but but but but H-I-L-L-A-R-Y

pathetic little RWs.

The Hillary supporters were not the first birthers either...they actually got the info from an internet search on Obama...

When Obama was running for State Senator of Illinois...one of Obama's State opponents put the birther conspiracy out there then.
Sure, care.

Pathetic Birthers and their Right Wing enablers.

I love every time Trump or his sycophants bring this up.

Because Trump is the only big fat Birther running for President- the only candidate who embraced Birtherism and went all the way down the rabbit hole.

So if anyone thinks Birthers are idiots- and wants to blame Clinton- well Trump is the actual candidate who went 'Full Birther'

But if anyone is an actual Birther- and 'blames' Clinton for their Birtherism......LOL

Birtherism: Where it all began

A brief history of birtherism

Birtherism is the latest and most enduring version of a theory in search of facts.

The original smear against Obama was that he was a crypto-Muslim, floated in 2004 by perennial Illinois political candidate and serial litigant Andy Martin. Other related versions of this theory alleged that Obama was educated in an Indonesian “madrassa” or steeped in Islamist ideology from a young age, and the theories began to spread virally after Obama appeared on the national stage – to the casual observer, from nowhere – with his early 2007 presidential campaign announcement. (See: Obama kin: Birther rumors 'a shame')

All through that year, the Obama campaign – with the affirmation of most leaders of both parties – aggressively battled that smear by emphasizing his Christian faith. Obama’s controversial but emphatically Christian pastor emerged as a campaign issue and the belief that he was a Muslim seemed to lose traction. (See: Clinton: Birther claims 'ludicrous')

Then, as Obama marched toward the presidency, a new suggestion emerged: That he was not eligible to serve. (See: Birther debate alive across U.S.)

That theory first emerged in the spring of 2008, as Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama’s citizenship.

“Barack Obama’s mother was living in Kenya with his Arab-African father late in her pregnancy. She was not allowed to travel by plane then, so Barack Obama was born there and his mother then took him to Hawaii to register his birth,” asserted one chain email that surfaced on the urban legend site Snopes.com in April 2008.

so it's okay when Clintons do it, but not when anybody else does.

You're such a pathetic shill.

You're such a pathetic shill.

Except of course there is absolutely no evidence that the Clinton's were ever Birthers.

But Donald Trump- Donald Trump is just a big old King of the Birthers.

And we all know what idiots Birthers are

According to factcheck.org the original birthers were Hillary supporters.

Was Hillary Clinton the Original ‘Birther’?

Read it and weep.

Is it okay to quote your own link?

"Neither Cruz nor Trump, whose campaign did not respond to our request for backup material, provides any compelling evidence that either Clinton or her campaign had anything to do with starting the so-called birther movement."

Hillary told you she wasn't wearing an ear piece and "Alt Right", so, by coincidence, you say "no ear piece" and "Alt Right"

Hillary has since denied being a birther, so what choice did you have?
What are you still doing here? You said you were permanently leaving if there was no earpiece in Hillary's ear, and yet you are still here.

The redacted photo show a blurry earpiece!

My God, you win!!
You don't even know what "redacted" means. That photo is sharper than any of the so called earpiece photos.

Don't confuse Birthers with their own citations- it just confuses and irritates them.

Do you....while competing for the coveted title of RIGHT WING ASSHOLE even bother to read what you cite??? DO YOU???? ......Here from the article (read, COMPREHEND and then weep.....

But none of those stories suggests any link between the Clinton campaign, let alone Clinton herself, and the advocacy of theories questioning Obama’s birth in Hawaii.

One of the authors of the Politico story, Byron Tau, now a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, told FactCheck.org via email that “we never found any links between the Clinton campaign and the rumors in 2008.”

The other coauthor of the Politico story, Ben Smith, now the editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed, said in a May 2013 interview on MSNBC that the conspiracy theories traced back to “some of [Hillary Clinton’s] passionate supporters,” during the final throes of Clinton’s 2008 campaign. But he said they did not come from “Clinton herself or her staff.”

Okay, okay. So Clinton herself didn't tell the rubes to say Obama was born in Kenya.

Even better!

The low-information Democratic voters told the rubes to say Obama was born in Kenya, and the rubes are obeying those instructions to this day!

ALLLLLLL righty then!

Various reports have confirmed that in 2008 both the McCain and Clinton camps looked into Obama's birth - and quickly confirmed that it was factual that he was a legitimate natural born U.S. citizen born in Hawaii. Trump is the only one trying to ride the birther lie to the White House.
