A Christian petition rebuking religious attacks against Vice President Kamala Harris has received more than 13,000 signatures.
A petition by the organization Faithful America, a left-leaning group that opposes Christian nationalism, raised concerns about some attacks against Harris from conservative Christians.
"Now that Vice President Kamala Harris is the presumptive Democratic nominee who will take on Donald Trump, the far-right—including some pastors—has gone into overdrive, twisting Scripture to attack her with vile racist and sexist slurs like 'Jezebel,'" the petition reads.
It states that "Christian-nationalist leaders" have cast Harris "as Jezebel, a Biblical character long used as a racist and sexist trope to attack powerful women."
Comment:
This sounds just like another crazy Democrat smear campaign.
It doesn't make sense.
The Radical Left has been expressing their contempt for Christians for generations, and now suddenly they have their own Christian group called "Faith America".
The whole thing sounds made up.
The Democrats keep using the Radical Left dog-whistle term "Christian-Nationalist" to scare people.
It makes it sound like Christians are Nazis.
