Families making $25,000 a year end up with a whopping 60 BUCKS MORE!

Can you just imagine how much people making 25 thousand a year can do with 60 bucks? That's like 5 dollars a month. You could buy one grande nonfat no foam latte at 120 degrees from Starbucks.

Hearing the GOP talk about "we are doubling this and tripling that" broken down into real dollars and cents is an eye opener.

And if you make 50 to 75 grand? OMG! Almost 900 dollars! You could use it to pay for that Obamacare you can only afford if you pay like 10 times that amount.

Wow! Republicans once again really doing a number on the American people.

Trump stands to save millions under new tax measure, experts say

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) saying this week, “For all those millions of Americans struggling paycheck to paycheck, help is on the way.”

But the biggest chunk of the plan offers a stark and permanent tax cut for American companies, dropping the corporate rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.

Income-tax rates for everyone will drop temporarily, though the financial impact will be largely concentrated at the top. Families earning less than $25,000 a year would receive an average tax cut of $60; families making between $50,000 and $75,000 will get an average cut of $890; and families making more than $1 million would get an average cut of nearly $70,000, the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center said.

They are lucky they get anything. The $25k standard deduction means they won’t owe any taxes. However, given the fact at that levels they no doubt qualify for food stamps, section 8, Medicaid and other welfare benefits, so again they are lucky to get anything.

You seem to have forgotten their tax rate will drop fro 17% to 12%.... so 60 bucks is just the main changes IF THEY EVEN PAY ANY TAXES... that's the rub.. they pay NO TAXES.. so this is a false flag lie... they will pay less but wont get handouts... poor libtard... are your handout feelings hurt?

This is how it works

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for lunch and the bill for all ten comes to $100.

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

  • The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
  • The fifth would pay $1.
  • The sixth would pay $3.
  • The seventh would pay $7.
  • The eighth would pay $12.
  • The ninth would pay $18.
  • The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men ate lunch in the restaurant every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve ball.

"Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily lunch by $20.00." So lunch for the ten men would now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still eat for free. But what about the other six men? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share?

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to eat his lunch.

So the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage the poorer he was, to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using, and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.

  • And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% off).
  • The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% off).
  • The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28% off).
  • The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% off).
  • The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% off).
  • The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% off).
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to eat lunch for free. But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare the amount they got off.

The sixth man said, "I only got $1 off out of the $20 while the tenth man got $10 off!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only got $1 off, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!"

"That's true!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 off, when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison, "we didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!"

The nine men surrounded the tenth and told him they they were angry that he got so much off while they each got very little.

The next day the tenth man didn't show up for lunch, so the nine sat down and had their lunchs without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money amongst all of them for even half of the bill!

The left today would want the four men who paid nothing to somehow get the benefit of that lunch cut or it was worthless.

Under President Trump a family making just $25K a year will be able to get a real job and move up the tax bracket.

Something they couldn’t do under the Hussein.

Winning.

There are some good things in this bill. But, the only tax cuts are for the RICH. (This is where Republican shitheads lie and say the poor don't pay taxes, and so can't get tax cuts).
Funny how tax cuts are for people that pay taxes. In other words, a 50% tax cut on zero taxes is zero.

If you want the poor to get a tax cut....better be talking to the states.......sales tax, property tax and such.

Families making $25,000 a year end up with a whopping 60 BUCKS MORE!

The Dems are free to give families making $25,000 a larger, permanent tax cut.
You should tell them to get working on a new tax cut bill.
Democrats have already worked on Healthcare, Daycare, jobs training, education, equal pay, and anything that will help the majority of Americans. Do they have to do everything? Guess so.

And millions of them lost their healthcare coverage.

All so the wealthy could get wads of cash stuffed into their pockets. Now let's see I remember someone a long time ago who said this kind of thing only led on to the pit of hell, literally. Jesus is spinning in his empty grave.
Healthcare coverage is still available to all and sundry. It's just not forced now.

How do you defend this chart?

0006_health-care-oecd-full.gif

Everything is more expensive in the states. Check out how much they pay per student.

But healthcare, even the uber-expensive Obamacare, is still available to anyone who can afford to pay for it. Thanks, Obama.
Before Obama, millions didn't have any healthcare at all.

Besides, should you and your kind be dancing? You've made sure millions who got healthcare for the first time under Obama don't have any once again.
You're like a virus. Malicious.

The rich pretty much fuck this nation over and yet they get most of the benefits anyways.
Don't forget they hate the elderly, want children to remain uneducated, hate everybody, and WTF...Hitler, Hitler, Hitler.
If you and rDerp insist on the stupid liberal media spoon fed talking points, might as well go all in.
The proof is in the policy numnuts.

Yea, a REAL job.

A REAL job doing what? The GOP has cut job training and education. Unless they plan to bring back educated immigrants.

Maybe it would be a single person. But the real point is that working class people are not going to benefit from this 'tax cut.' While Trump is going to benefit 11 to 15 MILLION $.

Uh yea, that's how it works. The MORE money you put in to the system the MORE you save. It's just basic tax plan 101. I get that Liberals want people making 25k to gain another 25K while those making 100K lose 50K so it all evens out. But life just doesn't work that way.

1. Trump is an old billionaire who is now POTUS...he has a lot bigger things to concern himself with besides saving a few measly "millions" more for himself. So...let's be clear about the pill you want me to swallow. Trump spends about $70 million of his personal money to run a campaign for President so that he can get into office and enact a tax bill that "might" save him several million? That's stupid. Also, Trump didn't write the bill.

2. The bill was targeted toward middle class tax relief and growing the domestic economy (i.e. incentivizing job creation). People in poverty don't pay taxes so this bill wasn't meant to help them directly.

3. Globalization has been a major factor in middle-class wage stagnation and making US corporate tax rates more competitive should encourage domestic investment and jobs. Surprisingly, if you tax corporations high they leave and take their jobs with them. Jobs help everybody and might push wages up (but nobody really knows exactly how the wage thing will play out...certainly not anyone in this forum).

4. It's math and economics which probably all look blurry through your crocodile tears.
