It's an interesting phenomena that inflation remains so low despite almost free credit and with the government printing more and more money. It may be that it will hit us later, but that is not certain. It could just be that there is an inherent strength in the US economy that we are not seeing. Remember that US businesses are hoarding cash like crazy and many Americans have actually been able to pay down some of their personal debt. These are both big positives for the future.

It seems interesting to me that 6 years ago you could buy a good loaf of bread for 99 cents and today it cost around $4.50, yet there's supposedly no inflation.
