FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wass

None of that matters, Debbie stepped down from being the DNC chairman, obviously that proves her innocence. AND the morons in Florida reelected her. What in the Hell were those in God's waiting room thinking?

Interesting twist on the story is ransom threats.

Apparently there are nude photos of Debbie and she has them. The threat has been made to send them to the police chief if he doesn't stop the investigation.

And we all thought waterboarding was evil.

No one wants to see Debbie nude...lol ... Oh the Horror.

The Capitol Police and other agencies are investigating Imran Awan, who has run technology for Wasserman Schultz since 2005.

He was banned from the House network in February on suspicion of data breaches and theft.

Wasserman Schultz's representatives denied the lawmaker was using her position on the committee that sets the police force's budget to press its chief on the matter of the laptop.

'The Congresswoman was asking the Capitol Police to follow their own equipment-return policy, and as we understand it, that is now happening,' Communications director David Damron told the Orlando Sun-Sentinel.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz threatened the chief of the U.S. Capitol Police with “consequences” for holding equipment that she says belongs to her in order to build a criminal case against a Pakistani staffer suspected of massive cybersecurity breaches involving funneling sensitive congressional data offsite.

The Florida lawmaker used her position on the committee that sets the police force’s budget to press its chief to relinquish the piece of evidence Thursday, in what could be considered using her authority to attempt to interfere with a criminal investigation.

The Capitol Police and outside agencies are pursuing Imran Awan, who has run technology for the Florida lawmaker since 2005 and was banned from the House network in February on suspicion of data breaches and theft.

Two House Democrats this week fired technology staffers linked to an ongoing criminal investigation, more than a month after the couple in question was barred from House computer networks.

Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) confirmed to Politico that Hina Alvi’s last day as an IT support staffer in his office was Tuesday. Her husband, Imran Awan, was working for Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) as of Tuesday evening, but a spokeswoman for Fudge said midday Wednesday that Awan was no longer an employee.

As of Wednesday, Awan was still working as a technology adviser for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), although he’s been blocked from accessing the House computer system since early February.

Alvi, Awan and three other House aides, including Abid Awan and Jamal Awan, relatives of Imran Awan, and Rao Abbas, are all linked to the criminal investigation being conducted by the U.S. Capitol Police.

What's the scandal?

BTW you conveniently left out this part from your link.

"The five current and former House staffers are accused of stealing equipment from members’ offices without their knowledge and committing serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the probe."

And? Makes their lack of judgement no less egregious, particularly deciding to keep them involved for 2 months after the investigation started.
